VICTORIA 1883

Very nice building with a view of giant oak trees and the waterway. This was our first B&B. I heard from the other guests that it is nicer than most. So of course it costs more. There were some nice areas to sit on balconies and porches around the building. They had the best towels and a really nice bed. The staff was friendly and easy to communicate with. The chef made a great breakfast.

The Victoria 1883 is an amazing inn. First class all the way. I enjoyed my 2 night stay there and will definitely stay there my next trip to the area. The staff & owners went above beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. And the chef….the most amazing breakfast and service ever!

It was beautiful! Nothing

The staff were beyond wonderful. The food and the atmosphere were fantastic. The property is so clean and comfortable so it was really easy to relax. We were in The Jane on the third floor and thankfully they have an elevator as I am recovering from an injury and stairs are very difficult for me. I enjoyed the room and it was clean with a very comfortable bed that we really enjoyed relaxing in. We asked for a TV and they were great about getting us one. Water temperature was a minor issue as it took a while to warm up, and a shower wand would also be little touches that could have made things better. I’d have liked some reed diffusers placed around for some extra scent boosts to make it just that much more pleasant. Minor quibbles though. We’d definitely come back for another relaxing weekend.

We absolutely LOVED stayin at the Victoria 1883! Fabiola showed us around the property and herself and her husband have done a beautiful job with it. The rooms are amazing and the staff is so kind. Highly recommend staying here, and getting a drink in the speakeasy!

This place was perfect! I loved the location>beautiful garden to sit in, coffee and snacks available in lobby 24/7. Interior design was beautiful. There was not a TV in our room but we just watched Netflix on our laptop. A perfect short stay.

This was my first time staying in a bed and breakfast. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the reviews for the property would great so I gave it a chance. This was one of the best experiences. The staff and owner were very accommodating. The entire property is really put together well, very beautiful. I highly recommend, this is a 5 star experience all the way around.

This house is brimming with style and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in this luxurious and historical home. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was amazing both mornings. They catered to my food allergies, and were eager to accommodate. Our room "The Henry" was spacious and the bed was SO comfortable that I did not want to wake up! This home is located on a street lined with idyllic Victorian estates and overlooks the beautiful river. The grounds were quite spacious and well landscaped. We booked this room last minute (the afternoon of) and were welcomed by the owner with a phone call within minutes of making the reservation. I highly recommend coming here to unplug from the world and to enjoy a stylish and modern spin on 1883 living.

The hosts went above and beyond to make me feel at home, offering local tips, making sure I had everything I needed, and treating every guest like family. You can feel the passion and care that goes into running this place, and it makes all the difference. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, character, and exceptional service, this is it. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to come back! I wish there were more stars to give!

Wonderful restful stay

My husband decided to purchase a car across the state, so I spontaneously booked this gem without much research. The pics looked cool on hotels.com and I love the restaurant, The Garlic, which is close by. I could not believe our good fortune finding Victoria 1883!!!!! It is in a word, SPECTACULAR!!!! Everything is decorated perfectly. This, the oldest house in New Smyrna Beach, has been gorgeously updated with a graceful nod to the home's history, naming each room according to the original owner's. The bedding was the most comfortable ever. The breakfast was delicious. The guests were delightful. The hostess was kind and gracious. I cannot suggest this bnb enough!!!
