Black Dolphin Inn

Lovely room and great location.

The property, amenities and location was perfect. The staff, from Jess, Chef Jason and Taylor, made us feel welcome and showed their pride in the property by their actions, care and concern about our stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you all for an amazing stay!!

What a beautiful place with so much charm!

Jessie and Taylor were excellent attendants and responsive to any needs or concerns. Chris gave us an excellent breakfast and the location was quiet and convenient to restaurants.

The entire weekend was exactly what I was looking for. Staff were amazing, the room was fab, especially the porch! Loved everything about the Inn.

Beautiful property. Breathtaking view of the Bay. The complementary breakfast was really good. Good wine and beer at the bar. The only thing is that this time our suite was located on the main floor. We could hear every conversation happening at the lobby, which means room privacy was not ideal. We'd definitely come back but we'll make sure to book a different suite.

Location. Nice, friendly, helpful staff. Not as charming as we expected. Room was just okay, nothing special. Maybe a little more upscale than typical hotels, but lacking of warmth and charm. We’ve stayed at many B&Bs and inns over the years, this was our least favorite. Breakfast was very underwhelming. Offered three menu choices the night before. All three were items we could get in any restaurant, nothing special or what you’d expect in an inn. And the actual food and presentation were disappointing! Plus, we’re older folks and our room was on the second floor, with a very tough walk up outside without a railing. Again, not expected. Thank goodness the weather was good.

The Black Dolphin Inn is the best place to stay in NSB. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is 10/10... of course!

Beautiful inn, great views, well-appointed, great breakfast, kind and helpful staff, comfortable bed and linens. Really enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was great -- they worked around my schedule, printed documents I needed for court, packed my breakfast to go for an early departure, made restaurant and other recommendations, pleasant, relaxing, peaceful, beautiful. Thanks for the great stay!

I thought the bar had a pretty good selection for a bed and breakfast. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We had absolutely no problems with our stay, and we will definitely return!
