Good Time B&B

Great location and friendly staff.

The host was super friendly. I got lost on the way from the train station to the B&B carrying a suitcase. I stopped near another hotel and called him. The host walked all the way to find me, and took my suitcase and lead me to his B&B. That's super nice of him. This B&B is the highest one of the top of the mountain, the view can't be beat.

Clean, and very good location close to the old street. The rooms are not the biggest, but the staff is very kind and helpful ❤️

The hosts were extremely kind and it was so convenient being close to the street markets! The view from the room was incredible and the size of the room was huge.

The owners are really friendly and easy to communicate with, even with a language barrier they always want to help. We told them our arrival time, they recommended the best way to get to the B&B, and when we arrived they were waiting out front for us. We were shown to our room which was very clean and the view was incredible! Falling asleep and waking up to the mountain and ocean views was very special. Inside the room there was bottled water, towels, disposable toothbrushes, and some soap in the shower. If you need more toiletries I recommend you bring your own. They told us breakfast time was around 8:30am so in the morning we went downstairs and were served a breakfast with porridge, fruit, raisin buns, egg, fried anchovies and peanuts, and a sausage. Simple breakfast but filling and great to start the day. We arrived late afternoon and owners told us that most things in the area close around 7pm so on their recommendation we left quickly to visit old street which was only 5mins walk from the b&b. The location is really convenient for exploring. Some of the amenities are quite simple, so if there’s anything you really need like toiletries you should definitely bring your own. Our bathroom had no door and was divided with a curtain which you can see in the photos on the listing. It didn’t personally bother us, but something to make note of depending on who you’re travelling with! Our b&b also recommended we take a taxi directly to the property from riufang station ($270 NTD) instead of the bus which stops on old street. I can understand why, the area has lots of winding hills and streets so I think with luggage it would be a little difficult to navigate from old street. Definitely take their advice and get a taxi directly to the property!

Very convinience location, the main walking district within reach. The view from the room is so lovely, and super spacious, working air-conditioning is great. Really kind, helpful and friendly staffs they make you feel most welcome. Google translate is great helps. Car park is further in distance. This property is on top of the hills, great view but if you are not fit then that might be a problem. But generally property around here are all build on hills so.

breakfast was okay. it was a homemade meal with a few options. i loved the room itself. It was huge and had amazing views of the surrounding areas i didn't like the way that I had to navigate to get to the b&b. some of it is related to the area and it's hills but can't explain away that it was inconvenient to get there

no door to the bathroom, hair dryer sucks, parking situation is terrible - had to park not only my car but the owners car

Jiufen is wonderful, and the location is convenient, but wouldn't stay there again. The photos do not reflect the room. There were no windows whatsoever, so it felt claustrophobic.
