It was a perfect compact room with a view for 1. Maybe for 2 if the other one didn't pack as much as me. Check-in and check-out are also done via tablet by the lobby. His hotel reminds me of a techie Japanese hotel. The downside though was the gym. I think they're renovating. I do not know how anyone could workout in a windowless enclosed space. I ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes but felt suffocated without any window and left.

Clean room and lobby area and great staff, rooftop bar was super cool and such a great plus to the hotel. The location itself was decent and close to soho area but the homeless people outside and around the hotel area was concerning and it’s not the greatest location to be honest, lots of trash, rats, homeless people, I know it’s New York City but didn’t feel the safest walking to and from the hotel area, definitely better options around manhattan in terms of feeling safe and clean

Room was small but functional and very stylish and the technology was very up to date. Customizable Shower led light was great mood lighting and the shade controls gave an amazing view of the city right when you wake up. Definitely recommend getting a room on either the very left or very right side of the building with a city view.

Citizen M was a fantastic place to stay in the Lower East Side of Manhattan at a good value. While the room was very small, it was still comfortable, especially the bed. The front desk and canteen staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of heart-healthy options. There were lots of good restaurants and several things worth doing within walking distance. I highly recommend it.

Overall, we had a very good stay at citizenM New York Bowery! The hotel itself is beautiful, uniquely designed, and stylish. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was good, and the rooftop bar is absolutely incredible with breathtaking views. The rooms are extremely small for a couple with virtually no space, which makes it quite challenging if you are traveling with multiple or large suitcases. regularly homeless people and individuals under the influence directly outside the hotel entrance.
