    The AC in my room was not working properly. Went down to the desk multiple times to ask if 68 was the lowest the air would go. They sent up a technician who said it would kick on in ten minutes and cool down. After waiting almost twenty minutes, the room did not cool down more. Went back down to the desk and they said they would once again send someone up. No one came up and it was already after 1 am. Was offered Hilton honors points if I was a member but I’m not. Did not offer to adjust the bill or anything else even though I down multiple times regarding my issue. I don’t believe I will be making a return trip here.

    The lobby needs to be redesigned. It is miniscule, and with a large group, there is no room to maneuver. Take the cookie if it’s offered! Delicious.

    My family and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and paid over $700 for our stay through Expedia. Unfortunately, the room assigned to us had a serious bathroom issue. The bathroom door was loose and appeared to be damaged, and whenever we took a shower, water leaked out onto the bathroom floor, making it difficult and uncomfortable to use. We reported the issue to hotel management, and they promptly came to inspect the room. The staff were courteous, professional, and genuinely tried to help. However, the solution provided was to place towels on the floor to prevent water from spreading during showers. This was awkward and inconvenient, especially while traveling with family. What concerned me most was that the hotel management mentioned they were already aware of this issue. If that is the case, I do not understand why the room was allocated to guests before the problem was properly repaired. The room also appeared to be designed for accessibility/handicap use, making the maintenance issue even more surprising. I want to emphasize that the hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. My concern is not with the staff, but with the decision to assign a room with a known maintenance problem to paying guests. I hope the hotel addresses this issue so that future guests do not experience the same inconvenience that my family did

    Amazing experience from check in to check out. Staff was very friendly and helpful! I enjoyed the quick check in, friendly staff asking if I needed anything else, and warm cookies upon check in was a great touch! The staff checked in on me with texts and in the lobby to ask if I needed anything while I was in the city several times which I appreciated. The room was definitely a small nyc style room as expected but the bed was super comfortable, bathroom was clean and a good size for nyc, GREAT views of the city and empire state building, liked the mini bar and non-alcholoic drinks, and snacks in the room, elevator always worked and had no issues, everything was very clean and pretty updated. The rooftop bar was also really nice. Very central location that allows short trips to every neighborhood in Manhattan and close to times square for those visiting NYC for the first time this is an excellent hotel to pick! 10/10 I would recommend and I'm actually planning on staying here again in a few months because I had such a good experience!

    All went well from the greeting upon my arrival to assistance with directions. However, I was charged for the minibar - two waters on the countertop. With a quick phone call, the charges were reversed, and confirmation was sent. The rooftop view was beautiful and a great place to wind down after a busy day in NYC; however, the staff at Vue 180 were not as kind as the front desk staff. While the room was clean for a hotel room, there were areas that clearly had not been vacuumed thoroughly, under the bench.
