Paramount Times Square – A Generator Hotel

A good room, friendly staff, great location!

Excellent location close to tones square and broadway. Love the foyer area for watching the world cup. However room is outdated and needs modernisation

The hotel was in a great location, across the street from where Hamilton play is, and half a block from Times Square. It was very noisy at night, but that is the neighborhood. Only complaints are the the AC could not be adjusted to cool, and I heard other guests making same complaint, and the lobby/bar did not have any television. Since many people were interested in the World Cup, would have been nice to have chance to watch a little. Also, water pressure was low. But for a last minute booking I cant really complain.

Arrival was a little challenging due to narrow streets and construction, but manageable. Bell staff was great to store our bags since we got in early (for a fee). Needed a key card to use the lobby bathroom, and only one stall was usable. Standard room is VERY small with barely enough room to put a suitcase on the floor. Outlets in bathroom are inconveniently located on the wall opposite the sink with nowhere to lay a blow dryer. There wasn’t a remote for the tv, and no washcloths in the bathroom (things we could have called the front desk for, but ultimately not worth it since we were there for less than 12 hours.

Housekeeping just walked into my room after 1 sec of knocking. Doors don't close shut behind you.

Hotel was clean and located in the perfect spot. We could walk to time square in less then 3 minutes!

Great staff and location

Rooms are small, but I think it’s fine for the NYC. The bathroom doesn’t have good ventilation, so when you take shower it gets extremely steamy. Rooms were cleaned every day, and all towels were changed with the clean ones every day too, it was nice.

Perfect location

The staff was nice, but the amenities were not helpful. There was no coffee. In the room. In order to get face clothes, I had to request them. There were no cups or ice buckets in the rooms.

No chair in the unit, you cannot eat, only small table.

Location is fantastic. The vibe of lobby and bakery/bar was delicious. The room was dated, holes in wall from previous portrait or decor and duct tape around window AC unit. But the AC did in fact keep things cool. Was very OK.
