Romana Hotel - NYC

It was a quiet place and great for relaxing. However, the towels had stains all over them—at least one of the ones I received did. Other than that, it’s a good place to stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Parking was a bit tight but there was enough space. Would definitely recommend specifically for the price!

Kinda dirty but close to the subway. Good if you have a show at forest hills or in Manhattan and you’re on a budget. Gross ring of grime under the rim of the sink. Bed seemed clean and I don’t appear to have been visited by bed bugs.

Avoid at all costs. Seedy slum, UNSAFE area with addicts and homeless on the same street. Hotel run down, poorly managed (none of the drawer pulls were secure - they were about to fall out as was the toilet paper holder; only one of 2 elevators working, and no stairs to connect floors, only to exit building; $30 a day paid "parking" is tiny lot for employees where they discard piles of furniture/trash). It's so not worth the extra money saved. A customer who just checked in, came back a few minutes later saying someone was in their room. Huge mistake to stay here

bedsheets and window was not clean . may be the air condition was moulded . the room service was okay! but the reception wasnt helpful at all . also they charged 5 usd per bag to keep it on reception area just for an hour before check in .

Stole my security deposit, in a dirty area with lots of homeless people around, and inattentive staff who were almost never at the desk.
