Good localisation, very central. ✨

Our room at the rear was very quiet. Towels were replaced daily. Air-con was fine. The various members of staff on the reception desk each day were all helpful

The Leo House is quiet and cozy. The rooms are small but adequate for 2 people. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Even told me where parking was I was also able to check in several hours after the designated time

The building is historic, but the service and amenities are as good as any new mid-tier hotel you will find anywhere. The value for this location is great.

Clean room, good historic place to visit, nice service and gentle stuff. Great location.

Good location , very secure. Not fancy

The property was extremely secure and well maintained. The staff was very kind and welcoming.

The price is reasonable for New York City; however, I have never experienced a check-in that was so completely disorganized and long, as the one we went through. One staff was left on by herself to manage large volumes of people trying to store luggage and check-in. While friendly and apologetic, she clearly did not know how to manage the large volume of travelers and allowed people to cut us off repeatedly. We initially were just trying to store our luggage but this process took around 45 minutes, causing us to be late to our Broadway play. When we came back to check-in, we were left in a waiting room for over an hour, despite being told we would be the next guest to be served. Others seemed to be experiencing similar issues. The room was small, although that seems common in the city but it was bare. There were very few outlets and you had to go to the bottom floor to get ice. No breakfast on Sundays, despite paying same price as the rest of the week. Excellent coffee but will most likely not be staying here again. Disappointing, given other people seem to have left good reviews.

Love the location and the safety it offers.

The hotel is situated in a really great spot. Just a minute walk from the C/E line which takes you to many of the tourist places and is within walking distance of some nice, calmer neighbourhoods. The staff were always friendly and offered to store our bags after checking out. While the room is not modern, nor luxurious, it is clean and everything worked, which is enough if you are using the room as just a place to sleep. Breakfast was a limited buffet, but it certainly helped us to travel on a budget and they rotated sausages and bacon daily to offer a sense of variety. Noise from outside needs to be considered if you are a light sleeper. Due to the air conditioner and older windows, there was little to no sound proofing from the traffic outside. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like myself and you’ll be comfortable. The room could be improved with the addition of a hairdryer and small fridge to keep drinks/small snacks cold.

I had an issue with the payment not going through. I tried to resolve it and communicate with the property but the situation was not handled in a helpful way.

Spotless, quiet, perfect location, a great value. Diverse clientele. Breakfast is outstanding. I felt like I was in a monastery…I never turned the tv ln 3 days. Bath was immaculately clean. Great soaps/amenities. Loved it. Nothing

Honestly the bathrooms were shared by each floor and didn’t have staff ready available for cleaning.

Excellent location. The air conditioner worked very well. Room was comfortable

Great folks on stage. Comfortable and good price! Good breakfast included.

If you need a convenient bed that’s near the train station and subway, it’s not a bad pick. It does have AC and the staff are nice, just know that the bathroom is in a closet in your room while the shower is in a closet in the hallway shared by everyone on the floor and you’ll have to turn your room key into the front desk every time you leave the building. Also the TV is left on a screensaver when turned off.

Really good breakfast and nice people. I will definitely come back

I would not recommend this place. I booked a short weekend trip to meet up with a friend after reading positive reviews about it. But it is in a shady area of the city. Plus I had booked a room without needing to think I had to specify that I wanted a full washroom. The staff were not helpful and did not switch our room. The bed was tiny. The shared shower was not clean. I was not happy
