Great location! Had a popular bar and beautiful drinks. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Air conditioned, clean room. Will stay again.

We may have just found our new favorite hotel in NYC! Excellent location, staff, rooms, atmosphere, and art!!

Very clean and large room. Nice and quiet with comfortable bed and strong water pressure for shower. Pity there was no view.

Overall for the price the room was very dark and small. There are so many options in NYC we will not be back to this property.

Hotel is perfectly located near grand central station and around several places to eat. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful sharing information about how to get a bus to EWR. The room was okay. It is a bit of an older hotel and could use some renovations. The bed was comfortable which is most important to me. The sink in the bathroom however was so tiny, when I washed my face all the water fell to the ground. The tub was very worn but not a huge issue. Lastly, there were a couple of things that could be a little cleaner which would have upgraded my score to a 5/5 but ultimately it was fine and I would consider staying here again!

This property is very close to grand central, nice quiet place to rest after long walk and busy city! Will stay here again!

This hotel goes on our favorite NYC place to stay. Close to mid-town, quiet, friendly, place to stay. Close to Park Place and surrounding by excellent places to eat out. They also have breakfast beverages and other options. It’s a historic building that is well cared for and served by a very proud staff.

Convenient location, love the decor.

The room, location, and stay in general were 10/10. The staff, however, wasn’t very helpful when we asked for help with a taxi service to the Airport very early in the morning. We asked for a taxi (which is less expensive than a black SUV) and confirmed the service the night before. When the car arrived, it was a black SUV, I asked again stating it was a regular taxi and they confirmed pricing with me which was the main difference to us. We did not have time to request another service and ended up using it but it was definitely not the initial pricing we received, plus there was a 10% charge for credit card payment and ended up being more expensive than the regular taxi service.

The staff was not welcoming nor friendly. The floors weren’t vacuumed properly and were screeching as you walked …nothing special in other words. Not likely to return.
