Clean room, great location
-
It’s an older hotel that got a cosmetic renovation by The Kimpton. Building still has elements of an older hotel. Falls into the stereotypical NYC hotel category - elevators are slow and room very small. The staff are super nice and helpful. I really appreciate how housekeeping was prompt and efficient every day. Nice convenient area without being in the middle of midtown.

Location was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

the rooms were tiny, other than that everything else was okay.

Very nice and well designed public spaces. Rooms were fairly stylish. Gym was disappointing. Free coffee was fine but it would have been nice to have a little something, even a mini muffin. The tiny "cafe" was also disappointing. Our bathroom had an odd little shower that was narrow enough that I banged my elbows on the sides. Even with a tiny footprint, the bathroom could have been laid out better. We like to re-use our towels but there was only one hook and one little towel rod so we couldn't hang them dry.

Very poor

The hotel was recently renovated however it lacked amenities. There was no bar, pool or restaurant onsite. They did offer happy hour however they only offered red or white wine. They didn't offer valet but it was a parking garage next door to the building. The bell hop was great.

Fantastic stay!

Clean hotel and friendly staff. Good size room for New York.

I appreciated the free tea/coffee in the morning, and free wine served at 5 pm daily in the lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel was nice, though we were downgraded our room from a king to a queen on arrival because they were overbooked which was disappointing. Location was great and amenities were good though our room had an odd smell of cigarettes. Overall okay, won’t be rushing back.

This was a beautiful hotel stay for us. The property staff were super helpful, the rooms clean, super chic and just made us feel so good.
-
It’s lacking a restaurant or bar area, has a very tiny kiosk with limited breakfast options. Tough to justify a 4 star rating. The property is clean and in a great location.
-
Lovely light modern hotel in an excellent location. Friendly staff. Shout out to the really pleasant porters and room staff. So cheerful whenever you saw them. Would highly recommend.

The staff were super helpful and kind. The location can’t be beat. In conclusion, I was disappointed by this Kimpton property and won’t be back. Honestly, the Eventi is the best Kimpton in NYC based on location and amenities. I should have just booked there. I wanted to try something different and it backfired. It was not worth the price we paid.

Location was good. Bed comfortable. The bathroom was ridiculously small and uncomfortable. Little privacy re toilet. The staff (not overly friendly)was quite stingy with waters. It was very hot, and for the life of me I do not understand arguing about providing water. There were hampers left for the 3 day stay right outside our door. And dirty glasses lined up against the hall wall. The elevator buttons did not work often. It took effort to call the elevator. Up arrows showed when going down. And vice versa. At night, little to no eyes on who came in and out. And on 38th St side, folks sitting on steps blocking access. I do not recommend the hotel.
