The property is pretty okay for the dollar you pay, rooms are outdated but clean. Perfect value for what you pay.

The street at day and night is quiet Housekeeping are very nice and the staff in the reception too.

The hotel's location was great and close to what we needed. The price was right and reflected the condition of the hotel. The bed was clean and comfortable and the rooms were large for a New York City hotel. The hotel's carpet was dirty and most of the couches and chairs were dirty and stained as well. The hotel was not comfortable. Bathroom was worn and well used. The key cards constantly had to be reset and required a daily trip to the front desk.

I could easily get water from the reception and pay for hot water from a mini store located near the reception. No microwave in the hotel. No tea or cofee making facilities in the room.

Unbeatable location in the heart of New York. Right on 5th Ave and 2 min walk from Central Park I have been staying in this hotel whenever I’m in New York since 2003. The rooms are becoming very outdated and require updating. The suite we stayed was specious, the bathroom had a tub and a shower stall, the temperature of the water in the shower stall was so hot it was impossible to use it. AC broke down in the living room on the last night we stayed and it could not have been repaired since it was late at night.

Great location, away from the noise, however such close walking distance to the main areas. Reasonable price for New York. Reasonable priced however the room was quite basic. We were so busy so it didn’t matter massively as we only slept in the hotel but if you prefer more comfort, then this isn’t the hotel for you. The bathroom layout was quite odd in the room.

Perfect location for first time NYC visitors. Friendly staff; not too overbearing but nice enough to approach. Our room was small but it was comfortable and the AC was amazing, the shower pressure was amazing as well I liked the mirror in the shower. I also liked that they had free water in the lobby we definitely took advantage of that. I don't know if this is related to the hotel itself but there was a store inside the lobby with snacks, drinks, and other foods and my boyfriend and I decided to buy a Gatorade and why was it $6. Again I don't know if the hotel is the one in charge of that store but the prices were outrageous. There's a small store next door just go to that instead.

They never responded to your call, email, or messages. I'm so frustrated to get a simple receipt from them, and I still do not get any responses.

Fantastic location, really easy to get around Midtown and plenty of good places to eat and drink within a stone's throw. Spacious rooms for NYC (we had a suite which was perfect for travelling with a teen). Staff were excellent and resolved any issues/questions we had. The evening reception staff are not as good as the daytime team, and the decor is a bit tired but this was outweighed by all the great features mentioned above.
