Room was great-view was incredible. Cool vibe and clean. Comfy beds too!

Room was pristine, amazing view looking at Empire State building. Plenty of space with seperate dressing area and separate shower and seperate toilet. Mattress and pillows amazingly comfortable, great night's sleep and no noise from outside.. (17th floor) Loved the water bottle filling stations on every floor. Bar and outside terrace extremely comfortable, clean and with an amazing view of the buildings around being on 3rd floor there was some street noise.. Bar staff, very attentive.

Excellent hotel in a great location. 2nd stay and highly recommend. Only comment is the staff at the 3rd floor bar could be a little more attentive.

Love this hotel. I highly recommend getting the Empire State Building view.

Nice hotel....beware!!!!! You will get charged to use the rooftop after 1130 am!!!! The fee is $100 for like a 3 or 4 hour block. I wish this was more visible or should be highlighted when booking. As well, the rooftop gets pretty crowded during the free time.

Would not stay there ever again.

This hotel felt like the whole package. Restaurants, bars, gym and pool. Very nice rooms with modern decor. 10/10 would recommend.

The room we had was lovely but the bathroom sink was clogged and very slow to drain. They did nothing to help with that. The hotel staff were also not very friendly. Great location for the hotel

The room was very pretty and cool, awesome view! Enjoyed the rooftop bar/restaurant and pool. Everyone was really friendly, the decor was beautiful. I knew I liked Virigins Hotel from New Orleans and New York did not disappoint!

I liked the comfortable bed but my room was very hot and stuffy and the AC didn't work so the next day I got another room with ac. Also, I couldn't figure out how to use the coffee maker in the room and the room didn't have a "Please do not disturb" card to hang on the door handle.

However, some of the towels are threadbare and the shower seal was broken but the biggest annoyance for us was that we paid for a hotel with a pool and were not allowed to use the pool without paying around $50 per person per time after 11am. And you have to book it in advance! Never before have we stayed at a hotel and been told we have to pay a premium to use the facilities eg the pool. A spa, maybe, but a pool: no. We booked this hotel solely because it had the pool so it really did cast a big cloud on our trip. I sent an email to Virgin hotels about this and did not receive a response.

The pool is only open in the morning for hotel guests.
