It was nice having a restaurant on site but the biggest pull for me choosing this hotel was to use the veranda and get a good view of the Empire State Building. However, it was not accessible due to an organization buying out the whole floor. I didn’t know that would limit the access to all other guests. If I had known that in advance, I would have made a different choice. The staff were nice. Hotel is in a convenient area. I wouldn’t necessarily stay here again, but I don’t have any major complaints.

I’ve stayed at Kimpton for myself and with my family; we all LOVED it and how QUIET it was despite being centrally located. Valet was so easy despite being on a main avenue.

They charge a significant and additional resort fee at check in… it’s not clearly disclosed when booking in advance. Very shady practice. Won’t stay there again.

I prepaid my reservation and they not only sold it from underneath me (leaving me with no place to stay), they only gave me half my money back. Expedia was no help at all. BEWARE!

The staff was great. Enjoyed the back bar and the morning coffee and pastries to buy the r have a full breakfast. Would be nice for f they had some sort of room service. Rooms were great based on typical NY hotels with a 1 BR suite awesome for 2 people and a couple kids even . Not cheap but what in NYC is
