was ok. convenient area

Staff was great. Quick check in. Location is perfect for what we had planned.

The staff was very helpful w any request. The workout area was beyond unacceptable and the breakfast was usually with guests waiting for nearly everything to be brought out from the kitchen.

Hotel is in an amazing location, close to everything in mid town you would ever want to see. The rooms are amazingly quiet as well which is great in such a busy city. Front staff was very kind and helpful. There were problems with the plastic keys decoding so that we were locked out of our rooms for no reason, but they fixed the problem. The breakfast is just adequate, no extra frills. There is a good grocery market directly across the street with food to go and multiple restaurants everywhere. Rooms are very nice and clean. No refridgerator in the room but they will hold your food in their fridge downstairs if you ask. Overall, a great hotel for families.

The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, our experience with breakfast was disappointing. On all four mornings, food items, beverages, utensils, and plates frequently ran out. Guests had to repeatedly ask staff for refills and replacements. The kitchen staff appeared overwhelmed and stressed, which made me feel sorry for them. It seemed they were doing their best but did not have the support needed to keep up with demand. Hotel management should review and improve the operation of the breakfast service to ensure it is adequately staffed and supplied for guests.

Thr breakfast ran out of food during the rush and people were just plain rude about using thr waffle machines

Great location and very convenient to Penn Station. A good amount of storage. The elevators were awfully slow and we took the stairs on most mornings from the 5th floor.

staff was kind. Breakfast was horrible and most of the time had food missing. Had to wait 15 minutes for an elevator at 8:45 am to be able to go to breakfast. No option to use the steps as it is fire steps only. Fire alarm went off at 1:30am first night and the fire alarm was very quiet. If I wasn't awake and it was a real fire I would probably be dead. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Great location for MSG shows. Easy and safe walk to the venue. Clean and comfortable hotel. No issues, had a great stay.

There was construction in the front of the hotel and the hallways were a little dingy, but the room was nice and the staff were great. The location was great, too. I would def stay there again.
-
Location close to Penn Station, grocery store , close to Empire States building and close walking to time square. For mecwas a very good location.

Overall the location and friendly staff made this stay a win. The Hampton is known for their comfortable beds and pillows- and this did not disappoint. It is important to ask for a higher floor if the noise of the city becomes too loud to sleep. Get to the breakfast early as it is not replenished frequently. We would suggest a place to fill up water bottled as the dispenser indicates not to. Bathroom, while small is quite functional. Really appreciated a functioning fan and great water pressure.
-
Excellent location if going to MSG. Room was very clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast room could use a make over, furniture kinda worn. Breakfast average. Kids seemed to like.
-
The property is in a good location for attending events at MSG. The air conditioning ran very warm making it difficult to sleep.

Check in is at 3pm and they only had 1 person working. There were several people standing to the side of the line which they took before us and kept apologizing. Someone else finally showed up who didn’t work there anymore but came to help out. They gave us our key and told us our room number. The elevator look 5 mins because not many people could fit at once. When we tried to get in our room, we were unable to and it blinked red. So down we go to the front desk. Confirmed the room number and they re- keyed the cards. Waited 3 mins and back up to the room only to open the door to someone else room! Back down to the front desk again. They said they gave us the wrong room and presented us with new keys to the correct room. Offered us a water for our trouble. We had 4pm dinner reservations that we had to walk briskly to get to 10 mins late. Next morning the toilet wouldn’t flush so we had to have someone come up to fix it.
