good service

Staff was very nice. They make check in very easy. Room was a little outdated but ok for a night.
-
It was clean in the room but not keeping it up to date. The only major issue I had was the remote missing when I got to my room after check in.
-
Great location, room had the best view
-
Nice clean place, not far walk to time square. Room are small but cozy.
-
Roof top was very chill and a vibe. View of the city was amazing. Comforting rooms, love the black out curtains.
-
I like the hotel, but is was definitely showing its wear and tear.
-
Small number of staff compared to number of residence making them struggle to catchup
-
Room was extremely small. The place doesn’t look quite clean. There is a lot of wear and tear in the facility. For the price, the room is absolutely NOT worth it.

Nice hotel, good experience

DO NOT BOOK! I had an awful experience at Yotel New York. The website advertises parking next door, but doesn’t make it clear it’s limited or subject to availability. I called ahead and was told I could park, but when I arrived the garage was full, staff were rude, and I had to park a block away and pay full price for two nights. Check-in was just as bad. My room had no power, the bed was not made, the phone didn’t work, and it took forever to get any help. The shower handle came off, the shower head didn’t work properly, and even the key failed, locking me out later. On top of that, a staff member had a terrible attitude when I mentioned this issues and blamed another company for it. No accountability! They don’t care about the guest’s experience. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing stay.

What? Overall, a frustrating and disappointing stay. They don’t take accountability and don’t really care about the guest’s experience.

Not clean ride night staff

PS I've since checked their reviews on Yelp and noticed that multiple negative reviews are hidden. This property is misleading customers and your company. It does not meet the most basic standards of the industry or of Expedia.

Very good room. Stuff were amazing

The rooms are not the smallest I've stayed in Manhattan, but pretty close. They call their rooms "cabins", and I can see now why. Charged us $3 per bag to stow for a few hours and $60 to check in an hour early. Hotel is close to the piers which is what we wanted, and we were able to walk to Carnegie's diner for lunch and Birdland for dinner. Okay place to stay if you're taking a cruise the next day. But $395 is still pretty steep.
-
Nothing. Awful, room was not like the images, old and poorly kept. Staff didn’t care to say good morning, elevators frequently full and taking extremely long, room dirty and poorly kept. Bed was so small my son had to sleep at a different place as it didn’t fit.

Passable

The pricing was fair and it's conveniently located in Hell's Kitchen and in the heart of Time Square. The staff were courteous and the food options available we great at the restaurant in the hotel. The rooftop has nice views of the skyline. It is 2 blocks away from the train and bus station and walking distance of Time Square. The hotel has nice amenities and a lounge area to watch the world cup games. The Yobot was out of service and they charge $3 cash/item you need the hotel to store your luggage, which is odd to me because no one carries cash on them, and on the website, it said that they stow luggage complimentary for guests. This was an inconvenience and who wants to use an ATM to pull out cash? The advertising of this is misleading. The hotel room I stayed in could've been clean a lot better. There was dust present on the shelves and dirt in the show and you can tell it hasn't been scrubbed. The floor hadn't been swept either because I was picking dust and hair on my shoes. Seeing the carts that the house keepers have, they didn't appear to have many cleaning supplies on them, given how small and compact they are.
