Travelodge by Wyndham Newport

It’s a two star hotel on Hwy 101 in a busy area as you enter Newport. In my opinion, a lot of money for a 2 star hotel that didn’t let you check in early (even though 3/4 of the rooms were available) and the ice machine was inaccessible due to an “issue with the door lock”. Was the room clean? Yes. Was the front desk clerk friendly? Yes. Would I stay here again? No.

Likely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Key card wouldn’t work so changed to another room-room reeked of smoke. Attempted to call front desk-phone didn’t work. Was told all rooms were no smoking -however people smoked in them and nothing could be done. TV remote turned on TV but wouldn’t change channels. Room was dingy and old. Debris behind bathroom door. Breakfast was laughable. Area is sketchy-returned before dark. Desk clerk really could have cared less about my concerns. Save yourself the ick. Book elsewhere.

Room was decent. Clean and bed was ok. It was a bit warm though.

It says free break fast on expedia but only coffee and granola bar is available

all your rooms appear to be pet rooms. Bad breathing condition.

The room was so dirty and cramped that we stayed for a very short time, before deciding to leave. A lot of stains on bedding, lamps,etc. People were nice. Same statement.

The shower was great for me as a disabled person. The TV didn't work, the refrigerator was lef unplugged,the carpet was filthy and there were many cigarette butts along the outdoor pathway.

This was an interesting hotel! I called twice concerning handicap accessible, both calls were answered very rudely. Our blanket had multiple holes, there was no air conditioning! We went to ask for an ice bucket and he gave us a plastic bag, The toilet was plugged and we were told to fix it our selves. I definitely would not stay again! The bathroom floor was not clean at all!!!

The pictures online look way better than what you're getting when you show up. We had blood stains on our sheets. It was disgusting. Mold in the shower gross. I will never be staying here again and I feel like I should get a refund.

Staff didn’t greet us when we arrived. Not sure she said hello. Informed ice was in a separate building in back. Neglected to tell us a code was needed and had to return to the lobby to get the code. The hotel itself could be updated for the price.

Good location. Good price for the weekend. We got an end room and didn’t hear anyone else even though the whole hotel was full for the weekend. Would stay again Housekeeping didn’t come in. I thought maybe they would but didn’t. It was fine.

Bathroom was grime around base. Door had a big gap.

Our bathroom sink did not have a plug in it and there was stuff stuck in the sink. I did not expect the Taj mahal but I kind of got a dumpy hotel experience I paid more for the next place I stayed....

Nothing. The front desk clerk was extremely rude and very argumentative. Room was small and very packed. Bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. The door to our room was not very sealed. There was constant light shining thru and it was very noisy. Everything. I will never stay here again. I should have just left in the beginning when I met the front desk clerk. Extra charges for a pet when i said i was bringing a pet.

Comfortable bed. No A/C. Has fridge and microwave. Never replaced my towels in four days. No cable. Must continually sign into WiFi. It’s a bare-bones motel for what it cost.
