A truly superb hotel with an absolutely stunning location. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the food is excellent. What stood out the most, however, was the service and the location. We arrived after 9 PM, when reception was already closed, but the restaurant manager (I believe his name was Damian) went above and beyond. He not only checked us in but personally walked us to our room to make sure we didn’t get lost, even though the restaurant was very busy at dinner time. This level of care was genuinely impressive and very much appreciated. The next day, at check out, I met a wonderful lady at reception, Helen, who was extremely friendly and gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the area. Overall, an exceptional experience thanks to the incredible staff and the beautiful location. Would definitely stay again. None

We liked the location, the king bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were very clean. Staff were very pleasant and we enjoyed the restaurant. It was nice to not have to drive for dinner. Good menu and drinks. Breakfast was very good with nice selection of dishes. Also lovely views from dining room and terraces. Looking at the pictures on the website it would appear we stayed at a different hotel. I think we booked the only room left, a headland double. Be advised that this means you look at a hill and the parking lot. We had only one low to the ground chair. There was only one night stand with no outlet near by and the side of the bed with the outlet had no nightstand or even shelf to put anything on. No luggage racks were available. There are two small ceiling lights but not over the mirror in the bedroom, so if you dry your hair you can’t see what you are doing as it is quite dark. Same for bathroom, light over sink put you in shadow. Only 2 hooks in the bathroom to hang anything including towels. But the room did have a green light in the ceiling for, I am guessing, the smoke detector, which lit up the room all night so a night light certainly wasn’t necessary. I would stay here again, but only in an ocean view room.

Exceptionally clean and inviting in all areas of the hotel. The luxury double room we stayed in was beautifully laid out. The hotel food was also excellent - fresh and high quality. There was no aspect of this stay that disappointed us. N/a

We enjoyed the spectacular stormy see views from our bedroom while we were sheltering cosily from the gales. Breakfast was good, dinner excellent. Our little dog was made to feel very welcome. A minor point was that the toilet in room 1 was draughty and chilly. But given the strength of the storm outside, and the fact that some windows have to be openable, it was a minor belemish.

Room 7 was exceptional. Panoramic views of the sea. Super King bed is comfortable and the upstairs rooms are dog friendly. And yet spotlesslly clean (well done house service!). Double ended bath and triple shower. Exceeded our expectations (even though we looked at the pics beforehand). Nothing is too much trouble for Helen (the manager). The hotel sits next to the South West Coastal Path and is 200m walk to the tip of the headland on which you have more fantastic views of Crantock Beach. Restaurant and bar is also dog friendly and cosy. Food is very tasty. Huge cauldrons of mussels with white wine sauce. The alternatives to seafood are also excellent. Will definitely be returning. Nothing.

Where do I start - we booked one of the deluxe corner rooms upstairs with panoramic windows overlooking the ocean - absolutely awesome. The hotel is by itself with incredible views and small hikes to the beach - no noise from the city/town. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast was excellent - We were here for our 38th anniversary, and it was above expectations. there was nothing to not like - everything was exceptional.

Loved the location! Paid extra for the corner room and the windows were so dirty, it was hard to look at the view of the coast and cliffs.

Stunning location, high quality furnishings in the room and property generally Staff were very welcoming and helpful Burger wasn’t great actually. Restaurant menu is quite limited for the quality of this establishment

Property was great with spectacular views. Wow. Property was clean, well maintained and sitting in one of the most beautiful spots. Reminded me of Pebble Beach or should I say Pebble Beach reminded me of Lewinnick.
