A warm friendly welcome when we arrived, location perfect, walking distance to Fistral Beach and Newquay town. All staff really helpful and friendly and a great breakfast offer. We had a lovely room with a sea view but were directly above the bar and lounge and if you wanted an early night (before 11pm) you could hear the bass of the music thudding underneath you every night. You would expect this on a Friday and Saturday night, but not on a Sunday when things are usually a bit more relaxed.

Hotel location, hotel staff and overall experience excellent. I am struggling to find a negative worth mentioning.

Emma, Genral Manager was very communicative, attentive to every small detail and always helpful. All staff including those at the reception (Nataliya) and breakfast (Alexandra) went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Room probably would benefit from a fan and aircon in summer.

I had a wonderful stay at Oceanside Hotel. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. It’s a family-run hotel, and you can truly feel that warmth and care in every detail. The owner, Mrs. H, and the general manager, Emma, were absolutely amazing. They were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their hands-on approach and genuine hospitality really set this place apart. I highly recommend Oceanside Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly, and beautifully managed place to stay. I can’t wait to return!

I stayed for one night. I was there for a surf Memorial presentation, which was at the Hotel. On arrival the young guy at reception was lovely and very welcoming. My room was clean and the bed comfy. With tea, coffee and milk. No biscuits or brown sugar. The bathroom was clean. Everything was great. I will certainly stay again. I can't complain about anything. All was good.

Near the beach. Friendly check in staff. Nice place to sit while waiting for our taxi. Small bathroom. Shower handle fell off but I was able to get it back on.

Wonderful customer service, super friendly staff and honestly location is INCREDIBLE! Right in front of the beach. Only thing to improve would be provide shampoo and conditioner (hands was the same as body wash which is not very nice). Breakfast could be better with more pastries.
