The location of the hotel A swimming pool smaller than I expected.

Huge dining room for breakfast and many options. You can easily spend an hour eating breakfast. 50% discount currently on massage treatments. Nearby restaurants -I recommend Burger People and also Il Mio (Italian) Quiet at night. It took a while for the shower water to turn hot. So, you might need to let the water run (especially in the morning) and do other things as you wait for the water. Housekeeping fixed a problem in my room so it was okay after first day. See photo below--the dirty dishes were sitting on the 19th floor corridor during my entire stay. It is unsightly. I am not certain why housekeeping didn't remove these dishes.

The room was quite big and bed was comfortable. Walking distance to quite a few food place and massage places as it is central. We booked a total of 5 rooms and everyone all agree they had a rather disappointed stay. The discount on the massage was attractive but the actual massage was below par. A lizard was staying in room 1902 so my uncle smacked and threw it out by themselves. The pool in the hotel was small and not well maintained. The floor tiles were super slippery and unfit to walk on after a swim. When I requested for a pool towel, the staff gave me some towels taken from a bag which looks like where they kept the used towel and after draping it on my body, I noticed an awful urine smell on the towel which by then had linger on me. We ordered pizza for dinner near the pool bar and had to wait a total of 45 mins for it. ( There was no active staff on duty so we had to order from a staff who walked by) The breakfast in the morning buffet was minimal and below standard. The bread section only had 2 selection of bread with melted butter that was pipe on a cling wrap with only one selection of fruit jam. There was no fresh juice available and only cordial. Definitely did not meet the expectations.

Nice and quiet place with great view and staff. Perfect location close to exchange spots, markets, drug stores and nice restaurants. Short route to the beach. No need to find anything else - just stay here. Can’t say I really don’t like it but breakfast can be a bit better.

Clean and tidy, comfy and cosy room, easy lift access, spa was amazing, breakfast was ok, would be better if they switched up the menu daily but still not bad. I enjoyed my time for the most part. It would've been a perfect stay if the receptionist team didn't communicate properly and treated me like a criminal. I asked one of the receptionists, "Can I have a guest? He said yeah sure no worries. This was Sunday. My guest was with me every day. Until Tuesday came, escorted my guest (gf) with me to the lift to go to my room, and they literally chased us as if we were committing a crime. Startled me in the process. The receptionist did not talk to me directly and gaslighted me by addressing my guest in Vietnamese but not me as the owner who paid for everything. This really ticked me off. The receptionist spoke English from what I gathered. Or at least made it look like she did. The treatment left a bitter feeling. I paid my way for everything I bought. It didn't help that the manager was behind the receptionists actions. She stared at my guest without a smile. Like women, i can see you? I have eyes! I do not appreciate the dirty looks. If I were the hotel owner. I'd fire her straight away or at least send her to customer service classes. When I complained to the receptionist, I was told the manager would be made aware, but this was not the case. The 2nd incident I asked multiple times if the restaurant was open. They said yeah, but again, this was not true as i checked at different times. This made me realise they lied and were too egotistical to admit they don't understand my Scottish accent. This would've made things much easier because I could've communicated in written Vietnamese instead. But nope, it took until Thursday for me to ask the nice Russian guest services lady to clarify if the restaurant was open and she confirmed it wasn't. I had to order room service, showing me the menu. I did this the next day, but again, lack of communication from the reception lady who helped me order. I was told it was 30 mins wait but I waited an hour.

Excellent spacious room (we upgraded). Extremely clean. No noise issues. Friendly service. Comfortable bed. We have been in Vietnam for 6 weeks by this stage, this was our best hotel yet! Nothing
