Hotel de Berne

The location is very good, right in front of the train station. Lots of cafes and restaurants. 20 min walk to the beach. Staff were nice. AC working well. Good value. Would recommend for a few nights. Room a bit small and we didnt have outlets next to the bed to charge phone. No place in the shower to put your products. Small details - overall good hotel.

I liked the room and the facilities, they had everything that you needed and the reception offered other amenities which I found very usefull. Also the breakfast service was really good, they had a lot of options. I probably would have chose a room where you could hear less from nightlife outside, but it didn't bother me that much, it really wasn't that loud either and I slept very well anyway in the bed which I found out really comfortable.

I love the location of this hotel. Super close to the train station. I think it’s perfect for a night or two. The room was pretty cozy for one person it’s fine but for two might be a bit tight with bags.

Coffee from machines is not good

Location is fantastic. Coffee pods not replaced. Had to ask, then given a couple. Finally, bought our own. Coffee creamer not provided. One person at reception extremely rude! Yelled at me for taking 2/3 paper napkins instead of one. Housekeeping comes in and flushes the toilet - no other cleaning done.

No fridge

I arrived at the hotel very tired after my flight and was extremely disappointed by the attitude of the reception manager. He was rude and refused to let me check in and stay, even though I had made a reservation a few hours earlier. I wanted to pay in cash and was also willing to leave a cash deposit, but he told me that payment could only be made by card. I found this policy unreasonable, especially since I was prepared to cover all charges and provide a deposit. Due to his disrespectful and unprofessional attitude, I decided to leave and find another hotel. Fortunately, I found a much better place with excellent customer service. In the end, they gained a satisfied customer, and I ended up spending even more money there. Great location across from the main Nice train station, which provides access to all of the towns along the Côte d'Azur. Staff was exceptional and very accommodating. I had to book last minute, due to an unexpected cancellation, and this property exceeded all expectations.

Conveniently located near train station. Very hospitable staff. Ample breakfast buffet for 14 euros Towels were gray with age. Furnishings were a little shabby.

Location very good and staff is friendly Hair dryer should be replaced, but it’s not a big drawback

I did not receive my deposit back, the transaction is still in my account for a month now.

Position of the hotel. Near train, tram and bus station, pedestrian street, Old town....breakfast was great.

There's a small wall shelves on the left that is quite low and ppl can easily hit their head. That’s the only minus point.

The location was convenient and the staff were helpful The room cleanliness did not meet expectations
