Noise from loading and unloading goods for store next door, in the middle of the night, very night between 5 and 7 in the morning. The noise woke us upp every morgning

Having stayed at the Mercure Nice Grimaldi hotel six years ago, we were looking forward to our stay for four nights. We had a privileged room on the six floor and gifted with a balcony we very much enjoyed. The staff were wonderful. The room although not large was so well appointed, everything you could need. Great bed and linens, large tv with an English Channel, amble storage, fridge including assorted free beverages, iron and board. We also enjoyed the roof top area. Hotel location is perfect, just a few blocks to the Mediterranean. Thank you so much, we highly recommend this hotel. We loved everything

It’s a small quaint and private property close to everything you need while being just far away to be private for your needs. The staff were superb - everyone was welcoming and super helpful and always ready to help on anything you need. Nothing in particular.

During our stay, we experienced several serious issues. There was a persistent, very unpleasant and disturbing smell in the room, and the room itself was dirty. In addition, there were dozens of flies inside the room, which was extremely unhygienic. The internet connection was almost unusable. On top of all this, one day the elevators broke down (while people were inside), and they remained out of service for hours. We had to climb the stairs to our room on the 6th floor. Unfortunately, these problems made our stay very disappointing.

The location was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The information received before our stay was very good and appreciated. The room was small but we're not staying in a city centre hotel for the room. 2 main negatives - 1. The bed was uncomfortable. 2. It was very noisy - not sure if they have quieter rooms located elsewhere which would be useful to know for future. So although as mentioned above the room was fine, what we did need was a good night's sleep and unfortunately we didn't get it.

We stayed for 2 nights we asked if we could change our room as we found the 1st room a little small and noisy. The staff were very good and accommodating and the 2nd room was very good. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. We will stay again, particularly due to the staff in the hotel.

The hotel is very well situated. The breakfasts are very good. The room we were in was a bit small but very comfortable and very adequate, The breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. All in all, a very good base for a break in Nice Room could have been a bit bigger but not a problem

I loved absolutely everything except that the hair dryer in my room was not working. There is no spa or swimming pool at the hotel but I knew it while booking. My room was very clean, proper, and comfortable! The breakfast was absolutely delicious exceeded my expectations 1000% The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and polite. The location of the hotel is also great, very close to all major tourist attractions. A 10 min walk from the beach! The locality is also safe. I had a lovely time. The hairdryer wasn't working and they did not provide slippers (although I did bring my own). The view from my room was just another building and the wallpaper was frankly a bit creepy. But the rest was great! Would love to visit again as it is reasonably priced for the services they provide along with the location of the hotel.
