Good location, secure, clean, beautiful design inside and out

Charming place, amazing staff, such nice rooms with great amenities like a small kitchenette with coffee and tea maker, fridge, bathrobes, even beach towels and a beach tote to take to the beach. Beautiful decor and details, very posh and quiet, and did I mention the amazing staff? Gissell and Nathalia were incredible, very sweet and very helpful in any questions we had. And the best part is the location only a block from the beach and from the bus/tram stop. That we had to leave! Nothing negative that we can think of, it was just amazing!

The staff was great. They went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed.

Our stay at Maison des Barons was truly one of those rare experiences where reality exceeds expectations. Everything about this villa is absolutely beautiful and refined. The interior design is elegant, sophisticated, and full of character, creating a perfect balance between luxury and warmth. Every detail has been carefully curated with exceptional taste — from the décor and textures to the atmosphere of calm, privacy, and effortless French elegance. The room itself was impeccable and had absolutely everything one could need — and even more. Every element felt thoughtful and intentional. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, the tableware was stunningly beautiful, and even the smallest details added to the feeling of comfort and understated luxury. It is rare to find a place where aesthetics and functionality are combined so seamlessly. A very special thank you to Natalia, who welcomed us so warmly and made our stay unforgettable from beginning to end. Her attention to detail, kindness, and genuine care created a level of hospitality that felt deeply personal and truly exceptional. We were especially touched by the beautiful gift she prepared for us — a lovely notebook accompanied by a postcard with a warm handwritten note. Such sincere gestures create memories that stay with you long after the trip is over. One of the most memorable moments was the luxurious breakfast on the terrace that Natalia organized for my husband and me. It was simply perfect — beautifully presented, delicious, peaceful, and incredibly atmospheric. Sitting there in the morning light of Nice, enjoying such an elegant breakfast, felt like a scene from a film. Maison des Barons is not just a villa — it is an experience of beauty, style, and genuine luxury. A place with soul, where every detail makes you want to return again.

I LOVED this place - Graciela was amazing and so kind - room was ready early. Amazing to stay in with a porch AND a balcony. Super comfortable and luxurious - robes, soaps, stocked with dishes and cups. FABULOUS and practically had it all to myself! Such a beautiful space and close to beach and not far from Old Town. Really felt special staying here! Didn't love having a pay-bar - would have been nice to have a free bottle of wine or water or small snack considering the price. Otherwise FANTASTIC! Spiral staircase sometimes tricky so be careful if you are not sure-footed but it was fine for me!

I liked absolutely everything about the hotel design, the best of everything, details, cared for lovingly, water pressure, bed and pillows, space, old world charm, quality breakfast, But Gissel (owner ?) take it over the , making this hotel one of my absolute favourites worldwide. She was incredibly helpful, kind, refined, caring, phenomenal attention to detail, organized, and calm. She has made it a home for us and takes care of us. It feels like this is what she was born to do and that it’s her main passion in life, a dream come true for her as well. Maison des Barons is also the cleanest hotel I have ever been in and I have stayed in The Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Dusit Tani, etc. Gissel, what an achievement. You should be very proud. Make sure you take care of yourself too! Thank you. Not possible to find a negative.

An incredible hotel with beautiful historic character. You can feel the care put into every detail, and the staff were wonderful and was professional, kind, and very supportive during our stay. For an authentic French experience, choose this place over generic hotel chains. -

The Breakfast was amazing. Fit for a royal. Everything was just spectacular about this hotel. The staff is what makes this hotel so charming . Gissel, David & Liliya - Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant and seamless. When we come back to Nice, we will definitely stay at Maison again. I don't think there was anything bad about our stay.

Very convenient and elegant property just around a corner from Negressco hotel. Interiors are brand new and very well equipped. Around a clock access provided with security codes.

Charming boutique hotel with an excellent location. The staff was wonderful.

The location was fantastic, and the staff, especially Giselle, was very attentive We encountered several issues with the room during our stay. The room was located on the -1 floor, which would have been fine if it hadn’t been so stuffy. There were no bedside tables, which made it inconvenient to use dimmer lights or charge our phones near the bed. The bathroom door was defective and got locked from the inside while we were going to bed, which meant we couldn’t access it until the morning when staff came to help. Additionally, every time we showered, water leaked into the bedroom despite our efforts to be careful. The Wi-Fi connection was also unstable, frequently disconnecting and reconnecting. On the positive side, the location was fantastic, and the staff were kind and tried to make up for the inconvenience by offering us free croissants the next day after the bathroom door issue.

We had a wonderful one-night stay. The hotel is charming, beautifully kept, and centrally located. The staff were warm, communicative, and made everything easy. A truly hospitable place—we only wish we could have stayed longer.

We originally booked this property because of its proximity to family that we we’re visiting… What an amazing place… Far exceed our expectations… I don’t think there’s a better place that I’ve ever stayed at in all the world We loved everything about it
