Althea Etna Garden

We love the property! The house and property are beautiful and clean. It is located right across the street from the city park, which is also beautiful. The B&B is also located less than a block away from many restaurants, bars, Gelateria, etc. The town of Nicolosi is also cute and clean… so, this property fits in perfectly! Ruben was very communicative and a wonderful host during our stay. He even helped us plan our Mount Etna tour/trip, which went so much better than it would have if we had tried to do it on our own. When we come back to Sicily, we plan on staying here again! There was nothing we disliked about the property. Our stay was wonderful!

The location is very nice, beautiful and quiet. The staff are also very friendly and welcome you very warmly. All rooms were comfortable and clean. We travelled as a family and it was a perfect stay for us Would definitely contact the owner back for another stay

It was a last minute booking for a place to stay the night and it served the purpose. Nothing fancy. Location was handy to go up Mt.Etna the next morning. The hidden charge for using the gas burner in the kitchen. After a week in Sicily, this place certainly felt overpriced for what was offered. The layout of the bathroom is absurd and extremely impractical. You need to cross the wet area/shower to reach the sink and toilet. Pillows were too thin and offered no support.

The host Ruben went out of his way to be helpful and speaks very good English. The location is excellent, just minutes to the main road and bars and restaurants, yet it's very quiet and peaceful at the property. Very nicely appointed. Would recommend without question.

Stayed in a well-equipped room with a cozy but overly soft mattress, suitable for a couple of nights but not for an extended stay. The inclusion of Netflix was a great bonus. The location was excellent, situated in a beautiful and well-placed house. The owner was exceptionally friendly and attentive. In terms of dislikes, I was hoping for more breakfast variety, including at least eggs for us to prepare. Protein is an important part of our breakfast, and we're not accustomed to a solely sweet morning meal. This was truly the only disappointing aspect. Additionally, on our last day, I couldn't sleep in due to unexpected drilling noises – there were unforeseen constructions. We're understanding individuals, so we recognize that these things can happen. The owner was very kind and apologized as it was an emergency repair. Apart from these incidents, everything else was excellent – well-equipped and well-located. The service was outstanding, and they also offered transfer and tour services.

Exceptional

Really close to Nicolosi’s centre. The facilities were clean and well kept. It has a lovely outside dining area and open air lounge. The room didn’t have an iron for clothes ironing. For the rest everything was perfect.
