Exceptional stay! The cottage rooms were beautiful, cozy and very well designed. We had a great comfy stay and our rooms faced the rice fields with the mountain view. The staff were kind and excellent. We had a great stay!

Everything!!! The location is so beauitiful in the middle of rice fields and a view of karsts. The whole hotel is very cute and aesthetic, they clearly have great taste! Very clean place and the staff wes extremely helpful with every question. The food in the restaurant was also really good with big portions. We ate there a few times and enjoyed it. Overall, the best hotel we have been to or seen in Ninh Binh and in Vietnam also. The pool was too warm to swim in, but it is understandable since we were there in mid May and it was sooooo hot.

It’s a very beautiful and secluded property in Ninh Binh. We went into Tam Coc a few times, which was incredibly busy, so it was nice to have a bit of quiet while at the Ecolodge! It’s also very close and bike-able to all tourist spots. If you do stay here, do your best to book a mountain or rice field view room. We picked a garden room that looked directly out to the pool. While the room was beautiful, it didn’t feel as isolated as the other rooms because you could look out and see everyone in the afternoon. Also, the ecolodge is cash only at check out. You can pay for the room via card but any extra expenses are cash only. This isn’t bad but make sure you have money on hand!

Chez Cao was the best place for us during our time in Ninh Binh... so tranquil and peaceful and overlooking the rice patties. It lived up to all of our expectations from the photos online and was even more perfect in person. The easy use of the bikes gave us the ability to roam all over Ninh Binh and we loved that the most. The staff were always so friendly and willing to give suggestions on things for us to do and their morning breakfast was delicious. If you are on the fence of booking this place, do it! You won't regret it!

I loved the location of the ecolodge. its set among the quiet rice fields, overlooking the mountains. They have bicycles that you can borrow for free to ride around to the next closest area/cafe. I loved it here, and if you're looking for somewhere that's out of the hustle and bustle, and after something quite, this place is awesome.

ChezCao is a very comfortable resort with excellent staff. It is located in the middle of a rice paddy area and is very tranquil. At the same time, it is quite close to many of the attractions in the area. The resort provides bicycles which make it convenient to get to places nearby. One of our favorite activities was just biking through the rice paddies and enjoying the scenery. The resort will also help with arranging transportation if you need assistance although we mostly used Grab. The food served at the resort is also quite good. We loved the location but some people might find it too quiet. There is a small town within walking distance but there are minimal amenities. If you want to go out for dinner at night you will almost certainly need to arrange transportation by car and expect a 10-15 minute ride. You can ride a bike to many places during the day but it will not enjoyable in heavy rain and will be dangerous at night.

My fav hotel in my whole stay in Vietnam! Staff is the kindest and sweetest, helped us plan our 2 days without any involvement of hotel or activities with the hotel booking to make profit, they opened the kitchen for us earlier, as we had to have an early lunch before leaving , arranged for us transportation at cheaper price than any app. The facility is very nice and peaceful. Nothing that place is perfect

Great location, very close to all the main attractions. The room was very nice and had a great view of the rice fields. The property was also nice but was under a lot of construction so hopefully in the future it would be even more peaceful Overall service could have been better. For eg., scooters and bicycles were in very poor condition, no one was at the front desk at night, etc.

Pleasant location amongst the rice fields. They provide bicycles for exploring local area, and can cycle to some of the closer points of interest. Or good for relaxation .

Staff were very accommodating and kind. I looked forward to the breakfasts every morning - they really had so many things to pick from! The setting was also serene. I appreciated the free bikes; however, some of them were quite rusty, their tires were quite low in pressure, and not all of them had lights which would make them safer to ride when it gets a bit dark. So my only suggestion would be to maintain the bikes a bit better.

Set off the beaten path in the middle of rice fields, this ecolodge offers a unique experience to a traveler. Breakfast was wonderful; the use of bicycles to venture the nearby areas; and the staff were most hospitable. The restaurant on site offers some wonderful fare.

Wonderful & very helpful staff. Peaceful and beautiful location & room—loved the private outdoor space. Plentiful & varied breakfast spread. We didn’t use the bicycles or pool but did rent a scooter on premises (they even provided us with rain ponchos). We took the scooter everywhere so the tucked away location worked well for us. Laundry service was convenient & inexpensive and we also booked full body massages in their spa—also very reasonable. Staff was great in organizing our transport from Hanoi and then on to our next stop on Cat Ba island. Good communication through WhatsApp prior to arriving. It is very easy to recommend this property.

Gorgeous location and lodge, really leafy and green. The staff were fantastic and very generous. Would 100% recommend anyone to stay here. Nothing at all.

The receptionist who greeted us when we checked in was so helpful throughout our stay. He gave us recommendations around the area and was very accommodating (he was really cute too! ?). The location was really good. Close enough to the city and main viewpoints but far from the busy parts. It was a good break from the busy city life. The beds were really comfy, honestly one of the best beds we’ve slept at. The bathroom didn’t have a place where we could place our toiletries but other than that we didn’t have much complains. There was a small issue with the ac but they fixed it straight away.
