Ninh Binh Village 1990 Homestay - Hostel

Place itself is simple but very comfortable bed. Nothing fancy. Owners were very kind and helpful. You can communicate with them with Google Translate. I had a craving for some food and she made it for just the I like it. I liked they went above and beyond to my stay smooth and nice. I felt like I was at home. And place is very near to Mua cave and Trang an . Little far from the town. But it’s worth it.

The area was clean and the room was spacious and well equipped. I was misled by the pictures and thought there was greenery and nature around. There is not. It’s all concrete with some trees. If I’m going to such a place rich in nature I want to be able to enjoy it. Being surrounded by concrete was disappointing.

Nothing. I wouldn't recommend this homestay to anyone. Undisclosed curfew at 10pm so if you return after that, good luck because you will be locked out. The owner Ky was very rude and hostile, he escalated to the point of forcing us to find other accommodation because we made plans and couldn't be back in time for the curfew. Fortunately we ended up finding a much better place to stay. Although it's cheap, the owner feels entitled to control the guests. You have to follow his family rules including curfew and if you offer feedback, he will call you disrespectful. Very miserable person.

Great location. Awesome attached restaurant. Rooms were private and clean with good showers. The owners were helpful and nice. Loud music coming from someplace near by one night.

Our room was simple but had all we really needed and was very affordable. The location was ideal for cycling to both Trang An and Tam Coc. The water pressure in the shower was low. It would have been a bonus to have a kettle in the room, if not a fridge. Also there was no bedside light in the room.

The family is so nice and welcoming. We reserved for 2 nights and then 2 more. Their restaurant offers tasty breakfast and there are many delicious options to choose from on the menu. What I love most is how quick and responsive the host is. He really helps us a lot on organizing our trips! Thanks a lot!

A wonderful family helped me have a wonderful experience. They picked me up at the train station. They fed me in their restaurant. They are a short walk to Hang Mua caves viewpoint. They drove me to Trang An. They arranged my trip to Hanoi. If you are looking for a budget friendly, stress free, fun trip to Ninh Binh; look no further.

This was so far the best accommodation we had in Vietnam (travelling for 2 weeks). The room is simple but offers everything you need. Compared to others, it was very clean, spatious and comfortable. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and kind. The location (in the middle of major attractions) is perfect for bike exploration.

This property is managed by a local family and is located in a serene village with a peaceful environment and is very close to Mua Cave, making it a great choice for those seeking tranquility. While it is a bit far from the center, we rented a motorbike from the center, which solved the distance issue (approximately 6-10 minutes drive). Additionally, there are several cozy restaurants and cafes within walking distance, which you can enjoy. During our stay, the weather in Ninh Binh became quite cold, but the heater worked well and kept us comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were clean and acceptable. The wifi was stable, and the beds were comfortable. The owners were welcoming, kind, and showed good hospitality. Breakfast was good; we had egg sandwiches that were delicious, and it included free coffee or tea. You can also order tasty meals for lunch and dinner. As a kind gesture, the owner gave us bananas and mangoes upon our departure, which we highly appreciated. The shower pressure was low, and the warm water was not always stable, but overall, it was manageable.

A very cute place to stay in Ninh Binh, it is on the major road of the village where there are restaurants and stores, which is nice. We had a great welcome with a very early check-in, breakfast is very good and the family owning is so kind. You can rent a motorbike there. Room is nice, we recommend it !

Staying here is the best decision you can make. The family made us feel like we were home. They are amazingly kind, caring and helpful. The room is clean and spacious, quiet area, convenient with the restaurant besides the homestay with good and cheap food! We got great tips for sightseeing, help with booking the taxi to our bus, we had fun talks and tasted the jackfruit fresh from the garden! Thanks again for everything! nothing!

The property was clean and there are cute plants covering the whole place. The rooms have air conditioning, wifi and two big beds. Not to mention that the location is absolutely perfect, because it is in the middle of all the best attractions in Ninh Binh. The owner and his family run a good restaurant with good prices and great food. There are multiple shops nearby, so we had no problem finding what we needed.

Quiet location off the busy street Good breakfast, clean room with large bed, making excellent value Walking distance to Hang Mua & Ninh Binh valley, only a few kms from Trang An It was all pretty good. We would like to suggest putting a 20 litre water bottle in a place where guests can drink a glass or refill their small bottles.

Overall everything was great, the location was very convenient to go to most of the highlights in Ninh Binh. There were also motorcycles for rent too, if you're not used to riding motorcycles or scooter, you can book a XanhSM taxi. The hotel was also a restaurant, the food there was all homemade, the price was quite reasonable compared to restaurants I've been to in the area. I love the host family, they were extremely helpful and kind, they always gave us free fruit after each meal :D. Highly recommend this place. Nothing.

Amazing people to stay with, so kind and welcoming. The room was really cosy. We rented out a scooter as well, which was cheap and easy. Very central location in the middle of a village near lots of little shops and food places.
