This is an awesome place to stay. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. They cook very delicious food, so you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner there, so no need to walk anywhere else. Many choices in their menu so everyone should be able to find something for their taste. Even vegetarians or vegans. In the room you will find a big list of tours and activities that you can book there. Breakfast starts at 7am, but the owner was willing to make it earlier so we could eat without rushing and catch our bus at 7am. Thank you very much. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well organized and have enough power outlets. Internet works. It seems that all tours and transportation are willing to pick you up from this location, which is another big plus. You can pay there by credit card or cash. I really recommend this place.

Room was great but lots of stairs as there was 4 or 5 levels and we were on the top which was OK for us but may not be for others! breakfast is very basic the cook and wife speak very little English. Owner picked us up at the station, to walk it at night as he said we could do I think would be a miss-take maybe Ok at daytime. Owner was good but has a mannerism that comes across as aggressive /pushy, but I feel is just his way of communicating. free pickup good night sleep

Fantastic hotel, the family that ram it couldn't do enough for us. Sorted out the 2 trips we did made sure we did the hardest one at the cooled time, excellent breakfast as well.

Friendly staff, being ,under the weather ,I appreciated the cable tv and movie channels. The bed was was firm and the shower was good. The location was far from restaurants, coffee shops and stores.

The room was good to spend one day and sleep there. There wasn’t enough shampoo for the two of us. When we arrive there they told us that the room wasn’t ready, so he mentioned that we could upgrade to a better room and enter immediately. Then, when we say no, he said that we could do the early checking for more money for the room that we chose in the first place, so the room was ready. Then, the following morning, he started shouting at us because we didn’t know how to use the thing where he served the coffee, which we’ve never seen before. Overall, not a good experience.

Nice, clean room. Great owner, friendly, willing. You need a scooter, rent it to you. You need to arrange a sleeping bus, he will arrange it for you, etc...

Nice room in a quiet part of town, close to the train station. The hotel organised 2 trips for us with a driver which were good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room was like in a top hotel room. The 4 *we went before wasn't as good as this one. It was very clean staff was great, quiet. The breakfast was delicious.

We booked The friendly Home after reading excellent reviews & it certainly didn't disappoint. We have been travelling for 7 weeks & this hotel has to be the best by far. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Hugh room & excellent breakfast choice. The owner very kindly organised tours for us & drove us on the first tour with 2 excellent tour guides. The girl who took us on the 1st tour was amazing at taking photos. Thanks to her we have brilliant pics of Trang An. The staff all made you feel soo welcome & couldn't do enough for you. The also had 2 lovely well manared kids. Flanty ( hope i spelt the name right) is the kindest person..soo attentive & willing to help you. Thank you for a great stay. ?? Nothing. Everything was great 10/10

My wife had a cold and it a good place to crash in. The people were very nice and they even served her chicken soup. The Town itself was not very interesting.
