Tam Coc Lavender Homestay

We also had a special request since it was my friend’s birthday, and we asked if they could help us arrange the room. They were the sweetest—happily helping us and even becoming our little “partners in crime” to surprise her, which made the experience extra special and memorable. Overall, everything was perfect, and we highly recommend staying here!

Everything was great.

Nam supported us to book a last minute nigut bus and even helped us to retrieve the shoes a friend of mine left in the restaurant next to the homestay and sent them to our hotel in hoi an. Thank you so much for your support, kindness and hospitality, we would definitely stay here again! Nothing, everything was just perfect!

Perfect stay

Great location on riverside, close to many restaurant and Tam Coc boat tour departure. Very helpful staff, they can help you to arrange activities and transportation. Good value for the money, considering also the nice breakfast included.

Super good and sweet staff

Really loved my stay at Lavender Homestay. I was made to feel so welcome by Nam even though I arrived early. Offered tea and fruit and told me that I could check in early which was very much appreciated. Nam really made me feel part of the family and helped me book on a really good tour of Ninh Binh as well as offering to help with onward travel. The homestay also offers bicycle and scooter rental which is great way to see the area. Really great location by the main lake and in the same location as Ruby homestay which is run by the same family it seems. Excellent cafe on site that do great banh mi coffee smoothies and cocktails. Great free breakfast - choice of 3 options. Fairly chilled vibe but the social aspect of the cafe makes it easy to meet other people. Mixture of chill traveler’s and families. Superb homestay wish I could have stayed longer!!! Everything was great no negatives

Everything Nothing

Clean, staff are friendly. Beds are comfy WiFi doesn’t reach the room, no tv, didn’t clean the room but did receive fresh towels & water every day

Excellent swimming pool and peaceful garden. the family that own the homestay are the nicest and friendliest people I’ve ever met! construction was going on at the time which was pretty noisy when we were hoping for a peaceful stay.

Superbly located only a few steps from Tam Coc boat harbour though far enough away from the main road. Kids loved the pool, as did we. Very lovely hosts!

I have no words to discribe how nice was the host of this place. The nicest person in all Vietnam. He treated us so nice and it was the first place that we were in Vietnam. If I would stay in Tam Coc again, I would come back to this place 100%. All good.

Location was good, the host were very nice and friendly. Very basic room furnishings, needs a little update.

Very friendly and kind owner, breakfast is very good with multiple selection as well the pool was clean for kids to enjoy. Surrounded by walking distance good restaurants and massage shop it was good to enjoy. You should stay to feel warm hearted owners treat you very well with smile Not really except water pot was bit dirty to use and bugs in the room

The owners were so welcoming, helpful and happy! The pool was absolutely lovely and perfect to jump in after a day trip on the rental bicycles. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and fruit. It's been one of our favourite stays in all of Vietnam. We recommend you bring insect repellent, being so close to the river there are some flies.

Friendly hosts, good location Very basic, lacking many facilities listed in the description. E.g. no coffee and tea, no tissues, nowhere to hang towels or wet clothes. No fridge, all drinks supplied including at check in and breakfast were at room temperature. Despite a policy of "No pets allowed", two dogs belonging to guests were at the pool all afternoon, were in the guests' room and were in the dining area where they growled and barked as we approached. The motorbike we hired was filthy and kept cutting out. Despite the friendly and helpful hosts who spoke no English, it was a disappointing experience and I do not recommend staying here.
