Although the staff did not speak English, they were very nice, friendly, and accommodating. We traveled to Ninh Binh as tourists, so the hotel location was not ideal. That was not the hotels fault. It was just me picking the wrong area of town to stay (as a tourist). It was a brisk 30 minute walk to the beautiful Old Town section of Ninh Binh where most of the city's tourist attractions were located. There weren't any tourists in the section of town where the hotel was located, so there are no services geared towards tourists located there. There were some excellent local Vietnamese restaurants that we really quite enjoyed, located within 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. All that said, the hotel was excellent value for the price paid. Hotel location. 30 minutes walk to Old Town. Not the hotel's fault, just me picking a hotel in the wrong section of town.

such lovely staff, we arrived early morning (4am) and they let us sleep on a comfy bed near the lobby even though there were no rooms available. very friendly and helpful with booking tours and transport, very friendly all round 100% recommend :))

The location was in the main city center, away from the main tourist zone, i.e. Tam coc. The property was overall very nice but the room was though very compact. The owner was though very kind and sweet. Size of rooms.

Great comfortable room. Lovely big window with nice view. Clean bathroom Close to restaurants but in quiet area. Able to rent bikes from hotel No lift so difficult with big bags but not a real problem

Perfect value for money. Everything was very clean, WiFi worked without issues, staff are very kind and helpful. I didn’t catch the name of the owner but he tends to stand outside the hotel or in the lobby - he has fantastic style! The location isn’t extremely close to all of the tourist attractions, however it is just a 15 - 20 minute taxi away from most of them. We enjoyed our stay here and felt especially welcomed by the staff! Shower water pressure isn’t amazing, but is not a huge issue

No lift Not being told to turn a random switch on to get hot water No mirror in room Curt manager - off with us Lack of information in reception on anything in area or trips or bike hire etc No atmosphere / social interaction

The staff couldn't be more helpful offered me a pickup service before I arrived arranged scooter hire for me and allowed me to keep my booking flexible as wanted to stay longer. Very clean friendly service at bargain prices
