Got charged in Australian dollars even though everything was set to be charged in yen, never received a reply when I asked about it. The showers are not nice.

Staff was very friendly, and the rooms were very cozy, although the communal space was a bit small. Moiwa Ski Resort is basically outside the door and the daily shuttle bus to annupuri resort was good as well. Nothing.

It was a nice one-night stay in Niseko area. It's a bit far from Hirafu, but they had an evening shuttle you could sign up for, which was helpful. Everyone there was friendly and talkable. The room was large, even with 6 beds (3 bunk-beds), which made for a nice open area to relax. It might be a bit difficult to go to areas other than Moiwa without a car whenever you want. There are shuttles/buses (some for a price) that can take you around though, so if you don't mind that, you'll have a great time ^-^

Breakfast was amazing. Staff were helpful and friendly. Amenities were great for snowboarding equipment. Nice and quiet area. Staff arranged rides for pickup and drop off. Shared facilities could be a bit more cleaned / maintained.

Perfectly laid out for enjoying the mountains! Comfortable, sturdy bunks with privacy partitions. Rooms were not stuffy. Great people with a mountain mindset. Quiet at night- early to bed and early to rise. Awesome hearty breakfast. Wonderful staff. I wish I had stayed longer :)

Location wise it's a bit rural, close to Moiwa ski area and a few places to eat and shop. If you require more options you'll either be dependent of the ski bus, taxi or having your own car. Free Parking at the end of the street (about 150m away) We had 2 six-bed dorms on the first floor which we found to be great. Good comfortable beds and ample of space! Every bunkbed had it's own electrical socket, reading light and curtain. Lavatories and showers down stairs, dated and especially the shower area (male) requires an overhaul. No in house Onsen but some several public ones, about 20-30 min walk away. Included breakfast was basic and a good start before heading out. Room were breakfast is served quickly becomes crowded (room layout is not the most efficient one). Same area used for after-ski pub and dinner restaurant. Reception only open a few hours a day. Ski storage and drying room in basement. Only thing that comes to mind (except for a grumpy morning mood handling crowds badly) was when checking in; The total price (non-refundable) stated in our booking suddenly ended up getting a surcharge of 2% due the use of a credit card, a card already stated when making the booking.

It is actually not a party hostel but really made for people skiing that will go to sleep early to ski early! Good quality price for the area and love the free breaky! Ok bed and privacy Only two showers and toilet per gender which a not too much for the quantity of people. But never overcorwded. Except hot water and microwave for ''cooking'' we werent there for a long time but I was surprised. Not any good restaurant options if you don't have a car around (except Kobito that can pick you up).

People and staff were super friendly with lots of snowboarding knowledge. The lodge was very comfortable and homey vibes. Right outside Moiwa Ski Resort. Located a bit far from the main 4 Niseko resorts

WASTED ¥67,760!!!! :( We planned to go to Japan together with my Family to celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary and it will be our first snow experience unfortunately it didn't turn out well. When we arrived in Tokyo, my mother who is 74 years had an allergy attack and we needed to rush her to the hospital which caused us to delay and we were not able to ride a train going to Niseko. I informed Nick (I believe the owner) about what happened. I asked him if he could recommend a TAXI OR other transportation just so we could get to Niseko so we wouldn't be able to waste our hard-earned money and not ruin our planned trip unfortunately due to the time and weather no one was available to pick us up.. I asked Nick to see if there's a chance we can rebook it for February 4 instead and was told that it's no longer available. I checked it online feb 4 is still vacant.. I begged him to get a refund but was declined.. All I am asking is a consideration since the situation is no longer out of our hands but seems like the owner didn't understand. We're all heartbroken as we wasted it without a fight. Location It’s basically a backpackers hostel

  • Engine customer Jan 2024

The lodge itself is beautiful and homey! Loved the layout and had a great sleep! The beds are a little short for those over 6ft (but! There’s more room at the end of the bed, it’s just not apart of the mattress - you’ll survive). Breakfast in the morning was simple but brillant. Everything about the lodge I loved but the location wasn’t as convenient as I thought it would be for Niseko mountain passes - but if you’re skiing Moiwa then the slopes are a 1min walk away! For people using Niseko mountain pass - There’s two busses each morning (7:45, 8:30am), and if you miss them or they are full you have to walk to Annupuri which isn’t the best in ski boots and skis on your back. On the way back it’s better with a little pass through the trees that can be kinda fun, or there’s one bus back in the afternoon as well - or Niseko United busses but they’re not apart of your pass so have some change on you :)) Not as much flexibility as we would’ve liked.
