Exceptionally gorgeous, exceptionally hospitable. We have a large room with an in room Onsen perfect for her stay. Hotel is crafted with a very cozy and polished wood hi craftsmanship interior. . The food is strictly Japanese style and very high-quality, the multicourse breakfast got a bit lengthy, without western breads, or offerings.

It was the first time to Konbu Onsen. Clean spacious room with outside jacuzzi. Service was great and the food was spectacular! Very pricey!

Peaceful and impeccably staffed.

A true example of hoteliers accomplishment. Very professional. Delightful choice of samplings for traditional tastes every night and morning.

Beautiful design and concept. Rooms are spacious and well appointed, even with massage chair. Food is wonderful as is inclusive drinks. For this price level I expect service to be on par with the rest of Japan. Staff are more seasonal than professional hotel staff. One example, staff always had to ask our room number for dinner despite our staying multiple days and going at a designated time. Even restaurants on the mountain that we went to multiple days remembered who we were even though they serve many more customers. Onsen is beautiful but water was tepid.

If you're looking for a serene, traditional way to enjoy your time in Niseko, this place is perfect. It feels like you're living in a giant spa. The onsens were wonderful and rarely had anyone else in them. Our in-room onsen was also so luxurious with a beautiful view of the forest and creek. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The highlight for me was that they'd run out and clean the snow off your car every morning when you needed it. The food was also exceptional, though as an American, we eventually grew a bit tired of the elaborate traditional meals. There was some unusual stuff on the menus and we felt bad not eating it all. Expect 10 courses often with 20+ small dishes for every dinner and breakfast. It felt very special but 3 days worth started to get a bit overwhelming. Overall, a really great stay that i'd recommend to anyone. Make sure you get a car, though, to make transportation easy between the ski resorts and villages.

The cleanliness, great staff performance, most of them speak English fluently and in great willing to support our stay. Food is great both at dinner and breakfast. Our impressed story is that When I moved to next hotel in Sapporo next day, I realized I forgot some of my clothes at the hotel. I message the the hotel : they managed quickly to arrange for deliver those to my new hotel and even phone contact to our hotel for the arrangement. I am very impressed in their hospitality and professional , I have already received the cloths 2 days later. Recommended this onsen ! No

An incredible experience. Summer means green everywhere and wildflowers. Everything at the hotel was perfect with warm and attentive staff, beautiful and spacious suite with private outdoor onsen overlooking roaring stream, and unforgettable epic breakfasts and dinners made largely with local ingredients served in your private dining room. There is also a beautiful public area with expansive library, outdoor deck and foot spa and complimentary beverages including various wines and juices. This small hotel represents the best of Hokkaido. Finally, the location is somewhat isolated from Niseko proper, but there are nice hikes a few steps away and e-bikes to rent. We had a rental car which made life easier. The hotel arranged a great whitewater rafting trip for a full afternoon. Your Hokkaido trip must include at stay at this perfect small onsen hotel.Romantic

The onsen was amazing. The room had a massage chair. The complimentary drinks at night were perfect mixed with the jazz in the beautiful lounge or outside in the footpath. The food was fun and fancy and delicious. The sounds of the stream and the waterfall were the perfect ways to sleep. We didn’t have a car and so had to get taxis to many places because it was remote - which was not ideal. It is pricey but feels absolutely worth it!

Room and facilities are excellent. The onsen is beautiful. The staff is not as friendly as other hotels. They are polite but we would expect more considering the price. Food at the restaurant is average, nothing exceptional.

The service and the views were exceptional. I have never felt so relaxed in my life.

The Onsen was amazing. The meals prepared were exceptional. The bed were surprising comfortable as the mattress is pretty firm and the pillow has rice in them . We slept well. Our stay was relaxing. There is no offer to help with ski hire nor ski lift passes. There is a complementary bus to take you to the ski resort which you need to book and there are restricted time slots . The hotel is a fair distance from the ski resort, which limits your options if you don’t have a car. The seating in the lounge looks great but are very uncomfortable .
-
Very elegant and prestigious Ryokan. Hotel staff was very polite and respectful. Breakfast and dinner was an absolute highlight. Easy access to ski slopes with the hotel shuttle. Only have twin beds available.

Gorgeous details and the staff were incredible While the dinner was amazing, if you don’t like fish, it’s going to be a challenge
