Beds were not that comfortable.

Everything was lovely! The food was good, location was excellent, and facilities were comfortable and clean.

This was my first time staying in a pod-type hotel and a hostel, and it was a great experience! The gear locker for storing my snowboard and equipment was really convenient, especially having them dry off overnight for the next day. The food on-site was delicious, and if you have a rental car, Niseko's nightlife is just a short drive away. There’s also a fantastic outdoor onsen nearby within walking distance that is tattoo-friendly. The pod itself was actually a bit bigger than I expected, and at 6'4", I had no issues with the space. The location is perfect for skiing right across the parking lot at Moiwa, and it’s also a great base for exploring other resorts like Rusutsu, Kiroro, and many others. I met some amazing people and made great connections. I would absolutely stay here again! Walking to the bathroom in the night.

Everything was well maintained and very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and it served as an excellent weekend getaway from Tokyo. I'm already lookin forward to going back! Nothing

Beds could have more cushion. Kind of hurt after a few days of side sleeping

Location right by the lift and ski rental shop was fantastic. Make sure you get your lift pass at the venue as they do a 50% discount for guests (i paid full price online prior to arrival) The bed i had specifically was very squeaky every time i moved. Partners bed had no issues so i would assume only some beds have this problem.

50% off day pass at Moiwa. Great staff. Sufficient amount of storage, even with skis and a large suitcase. 30 seconds away from the slopes. Away from main niseko, aka it's not Australia, staff were actually japanese. Made some great friends in the hostel in just a couple of days. Will definitely stay here if I ever go to Niseko/Moiwa again! Very hard beds. Only a microwave and kettles, would've been nice with some more kitchen appliances.

Place was incredibly clean and well organized. Heater in sleeping area seemed to be stuck on full blast. Made falling asleep difficult with how hot it was.

Very clean! Staff is very nice and helpful. Tons of information available regarding bus times and onsens. Pillows could be thicker.

The sleeping pods at Moiwa are awesome. Felt very private, with ample room for yourself and storage space for luggage. The bathroom facilities are really nice and well-kept (except for the 20 second limit on the shower button). Also security there was pretty good, needing a key for the locker and to get into the rooms. And obviously affordability for being slope side was great. My friend and I struggled with the lack of kitchen facilities. With no shops around, and only a microwave to prepare food, no cups or bowls provided, it was lucky we brought food and cups with us. But it was really restrictive. Another major drawback of staying at Moiwa is the accessibility. There's no bus that consistently travels to and from Moiwa. Paired with being out of the way and lack of taxis, we resorted to skiing over to annupuri anytime we wanted to go somewhere. The bus routes and schedules in the whole Niseko area are confusing af to a new visitor.

It was spacious and clean. Good vibe because of the social room. Breakfast was mix of Japanese breakfast items cereal and vegetables. Coffee and tea options. Each day was different items. The mattress were thin, my back was stiff the entire time. Hot water in shower only reached body temperature, so I was freezing in the shower. Not at all close to the other resorts of Niseko so if you plan to go them I wouldn't suggest staying here, especially if you have the Ikon Pass. On windy days the Moiwa 4 quad lift is shut down and thus access to the backcountry also. The only way to access the other Niseko lifts via Moiwa is through backcountry. If wind is the case for you during your trip you then have to take a very expensive taxi - be sure to request a car and not an even more expensive bus taxi. Or your other option is to wait for the elusive Niseko resort A or B buses. They'll either pick you up out front of the hostel at 8:15 or 10:45 (!) only on week days (!) or you can haul your a** down a 20 mins walk to the Annipuri entrance and be picked up there. Moiwa would have been a great option if I had a car, but it's too expensive to rent vehicles in Japan for foreigners.
