Super 8 by Wyndham Normal Bloomington

They were pet friendly but the room they gave us wasn’t fix for an animal!! IT SMELLED HORRIBLE like a cat box! The room was dirty. The walls, windows, floors were sticky. You could even see visible dirt and grime on the TV and wallS!!! DISGUSTING!!! The room was barely inhabitable. Unfortunately it was late and I trusted reviews and the so called locations website pics, LIES!!! Do not stay here.

There was mo breakfast and the location felt a little unsafe. The first room we had was so wet and smelly that it felt like a swamp. I wanted to leave and find better accommodations, but the manager put us in a better room and said he would give me 50% off of the pet charges. I did not get the discount. It smells bad and the rooms are not clean. There is dust and cobwebs in the air conditioner and drips running down the walls as well as something splattered on the windows. The one time we had them change sheets, the fitted sheet would not fit. The tub looks like it has not been cleaned in along time. We had to spend 13 days to keep from losing $350.00 cancellation fee. Stay here only if you are desperate.

Dirty and inconvenient because the front door was blocked and they have no elevator

the bed was nice, that was about the only nice thing the water to take a shower didn’t get hot, it was very cold lukewarm if you got up early enough. the floors were filthy! i walked on the floor with brand new white socks, my socks were black within a few steps across the room. very sticky atmosphere. the room smelled the mildew. the sink was clogged. the tv was broken, quality of the tv looked like something viewed in the 80’s.

It felt safe Having stairs to anywhere I wanted to go…my room, the ice machine….

I was very happy no complaints at all I will be back again

1) Many electrical outlets in room didn't work overnight and mysteriously turned on mid-morning before checkout (light switches were off and then on, devices couldn't charge overnight but then could charge in the morning, etc.). Slept without A/C when the humidity outside was terrible (news reports say this part of Illinois was worst in the country at the moment for humidity). 2) False advertising with "breakfast included." There was a coffee machine, but the "breakfast" was a grab-n-go back that had a Natures Valley granola bar and a small bottle of apple juice. That's a snack, not a meal. 3) Room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was a nonsmoking room. 4) Front door was taped off so had to jump curbs with luggage to get to side door.

It was ok, hallway smelled musty but room ok. No coffee tea in room but coffee downstairs.

Once we got inside the room after inspecting it beforehand, I realized just how dirty it was, staining water in the shower that would not drain, the formers were so dirty that I literally had to use all of the washcloths just to get them to where I would allow my grandchildren to walk on the floor. My six-year-old granddaughter said this isn’t a super eight. This is a dirty eight hotel.

No elevator

nothing owner was rude, place smelled like cigarettes and death. I think there was a dead animal in the walls of my room. At least thats what it smelt like.

Dont book here mold in carpet, room stinks no bathroom lights, I am pissed I spent my money here.

Staff was very friendly. Stairwells were stifling, halls were not air conditioned. Because we had a small pet were put on the 3rd floor despite the hotel being nearly empty and even after informing them I had knee surgery earlier this year. “Free breakfast” was a crunchy granola bar with room temperature pineapple juice.

Very nice hotel. Lived there room set up. Slept like a baby. Bathroom was very modern.
