Great stay, staff were all helpful and courteous!

Location It was fine

I picked it because it had a 9.2 rating. It was more like 8.2…so not bad. Very small rooms! I called 2 days before arrival and requested top floor. The staff didn’t tell me that there were no top floor rooms available. When we arrived I was told there were no top floor available.

Very nice newer property. Basic room with a fridge. No microwave or coffee maker but is fine for overnight. Good breakfast, ample parking and safe

This hotel was great. It was very new and spotless. They have a beautiful laundry room that is complimentary for the guests. The staff were super helpful.

The coffee. Our stay at the Avid Hotel in North Platte was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had. After a 12-hour drive, we were exhausted and looking forward to a clean, comfortable room. Instead, we walked into a hotel that was shockingly dirty. The floors had visible dirt and dust, there were fingerprints all over the mirrors and doors, and the sheets and pillowcases didn't appear to be clean. They even had an unpleasant smell, which made it difficult to feel comfortable sleeping in the bed. The bathroom was no better. There was hair throughout the shower, and the body wash dispenser was empty, showing a clear lack of attention to even the most basic housekeeping responsibilities. Unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness wasn't limited to our room. The elevators were covered in dust, grime, and fingerprints, and the hallways looked just as neglected. The entire property gave the impression that cleaning and maintenance are not a priority. After spending 12 hours on the road, this was the last thing we expected. A hotel's most basic responsibility is to provide a clean place for guests to rest, and this property failed on every level. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone expecting even basic standards of cleanliness.

They advertise as pet friendly but charge $50 per night for the pet. The most i have ever been charged at other hotels is $25.

New hotel, close to the highway, nice breakfast.

It’s a bottom line hotel, pretending to be something different. If it wasn’t new, I would’ve left and drove till I found something more suitable. Union Pacific is very large in the area and they have numerous hotels like this one and it houses the workers. Not really a vacation destination.
