Malibu Resort Motel

I stay at this property every time im bear. They are very accommodating and just across form the beach. Best bang for your buck. I recommend to everyone i know.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They warned us about the stingrays when they learned we were going to the beach. We got clean towels and wash clothes every day. This is across the road from the beach which is not their fault. Only wish it had been on the beach. There really was nothing to complain about.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were looking for a one night stay close or on the beach where we could park our car and walk to the beach, restaurants etc. this fit the bill. The beach here was so quiet and unspoiled. It’s not a 5 star hotel at all, it’s a quiet mom and pop motel with no frills but for the price it was exactly what we needed. We had a fridge/ freezer, microwave and table with chairs in our room along with the bed, bathroom, dressers etc. we will definitely be back.

I love everything about the Malibu, Deb is the BEST host and such a sweet person!! The location is perfect, close to food, beach and everything. We have stayed here numerous times!! There is nothing that we don't like.

Very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of both the rooms and whole property! Only 2 min walk from the beach and their pool is super clean!! Esp., mattresses are very comfortable and the full size fridge is a big bonus. My special thanks goes to Ms Gabby and the reservation desk for taking care of all my requests very promptly. The bathrooms need some serious renovation! (There are some broken tiles and electrical outlets. ESPECIALLY, the showers are super outdated.) The A/C is super noisy. Besides, there can be more decorations in the room.

Malibu Resort is a very special gem. You cannot beat everything that you get for the value. It is right across the street from the beach, there is a restaurant connected to it and several other local establishments within easy walking distance. The property itself is one of a kind and the property manager makes it even more of a special place to visit that you are sure to want to return to again.

Amazing stay and beautiful property

This place is great! Directly across the road from Redington Beach, and close to many restaurants. The owner is so friendly, and will help in any way she can, and works hard to keep the property beautiful. I used the swimming pool many times, which was refreshing, and the pool itself is well maintained and beautiful! Some of the local herons and egrets can sometimes be seen hanging around there, too. The room was very cozy, and was well equipped with everything we needed. I highly recommend this place!

Rooms smelled like mold very badly. My clothes smelled bad after staying there. Everything looks kinda old inside. Manager is very nice and helpful. But they need to do something with that old moldy smell. Located very close to the beautiful beach. Has restaurant in the motel, but food is mostly like pizza, nachos etc. Restaurant near the corner with breakfast and coffee shop.
