The personal service made such a big difference to our stay. It was nice to be greeted by the host Harro when we arrived and the superb breakfast was made even more enjoyable with our conversation with him. The premises and our room were immaculate with plentiful supplies of tea, coffee and biscuits PLUS a supply of fresh milk which makes all the difference. Everything was fine.

Clean, comfortable and a very relaxing themed decor. Had a little struggle opening the front door. Quickly sorted though and didn’t affect our stay.

The location of the property was ideal for where we needed to be the following day. There was a lovely local pub that did great food, we also got 20% off our bill for staying at this property. We weren't booked in for breakfast but we ended up having a light bite, all freshly cooked and delicious. We were extremely happy with our stay.

Friendly host, happy to chat and advise. Large, very clean. well equipped bedroom. Super large, comfy bed. Spacious ensuite. Tasty breakfast, not huge choice but quite adequate for us. Parking on site Quite location Nothing really!

Great location and friendly host. Local pub offers great food + discount when you tell them you are staying at the Hive. Great shower too! Nothing everything was perfect.

i really enjoyed the location and the house was very modern and cosy . i thought the bee theme was lovely . Harro was a brillant host and brought me fresh milk each morning .

The rooms are done to a very high standard as was the bathroom.Breakfast was excellent.The host was very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.Overall the accommodation as a whole was excellent and very good value as well.

Our stay was short, but sweet as honey. The room was perfect - clean, tidy, homely, with the most adorable personal touches (I’ll be planting my bee-friendly flower seed mix asap!) The accommodation was surpassed only by our hosts. Harro and Lucy were an absolute delight and really are the heart and soul of the place. Would highly recommend The Hive at 52 and I hope to stay again in the future :) We loved everything!
