Marina Banderas Suites

The excellent location on the Nuevo Marina, made the 8 day stay a wonderful adventure with water taxi and Uber and local bus transportation close. I didn’t like I chose to not pay a a little bit more when purchasing , for a Marina facing unit. The gazebo facing unit I had, was extra large, comfortable and very nice.

Wonderful family owned and run hotel! Great, quiet location. Small pool, but beach is nearby and wonderful.

Easy to get around, restaurants near by. Had issue first day with small fridge. Could not make ice in freezer section as badly needed defrosting. When we notified front desk they came and unplugged the fridge and put towels around the fridge to absorb the water as it defrosted. We ended up cleaning all the mess up as no one from the hotel did any follow up the following day. Also would be nice if breakfast was included.

The Marina was nice We had one issue after another. I rented 2 suites that the pictures were very deceiving. I had already been in Puerta Vallarta for a month and the 2 places I had rented in that time were excellent,no complaints. I rented Marina Bandaras for the week that my adult kids came to have Christmas with me. I paid less for the other condos with no issues. I understand Xmas week is more money but every thing was broken and dirty.The owner will say she took care of our concerns but I disagree! We had 4 air conditioning break downs.4 people in my room for 3 hours to replace after I came home the night before to a flooded out bedroom and nobody to contact to help,First issue was another flooded out bedroom the first day,they did clean that up but so much time spent with people fixing things in our suites Reception closed at 7 pm.Chairs on deck were dangerous because of metal so rotten,pieces falling off.Dishwashers in both suites broken.The smell off bleach coming through the vents one day was so strong,our throats were sore and eyes burning.Reception did not understand English very good so we spent so much time trying to explain these issues.We wanted to use the complimentary bicycles but tires were all flat.Long black hairs on 3 of the bed pillows when we arrived ,terrible smells if we shut a/c off I could go on and on

One of our cab drivers hadn't heard of the hotel and couldn't find it.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Nice quiet location with easy access for transportation. The cleanliness of linens and dishes. Blackout curtains in the bedroom would be nice. Only one bathroom, yet booked a room with two.

No staff available at the prescribed check in at 3pm and no staff available when we tried to check out at 8:30am. When we did finally locate staff, both times they asked us to tip several times, something we have never experienced in in over fifty years of traveling.

Very clean and well run. Nice big comfortable room with a nice view for a good price. The woman that owns and runs the property obviously takes great pride in it. Had an issue with water in the morning and owner was extremely apologetic and made sure it was resolved quickly. People booking here need to know that it’s not in a town or city but close to a beautiful beach and a convenience store and a few restaurants. Uber and taxis serve the area so you can be in PV quickly if needed.

The location was excellent and beautiful. It was very clean the staff was so friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this place and stay here again. I felt safe as I was traveling alone It was walking distance to the beach and the shops and restaurants were so cute Nothing

Lovely to check into a modern hotel that still feels authentically Mexican! Beautiful big spacious room and bathroom, hot water, great facilities and view for a good price. Highly recommend getting good directions in advance. Google maps and a local taxi driver both got lost! It is a little maze of tiny side streets and there are no signs pointing towards the hotel to help us find it. The family picking us up the next day had the same problem - the paseo to the hotel was blocked by a chain and they thought it was impassable.

A real gem. Restaurants, leisure area , little traffic, pedestrian walkways close. The staff were exceptional

Nice clean room, quick hot water, well working AC, lots of room! Appreciated the little frig, micro and coffee maker! Eugenia was super helpful and so kind and caring! Water and land taxis very available anytime, and walking to restaurants, marina etc was very convenient. Pharmacy, Oxxo very close.

one of the best places to stay in Puerto Vallarta, it is really close to the beach, to the airport and there are some nice restaurants near by if you want to eat outside. The are is safe and the rooms are very clean
