I loved everything about this place from the location to the view to the staff. The views are spectacular and you can eat on site or easily walk to other places. The room with a sea view is worth the extra. The showers are hot. They have gelato and massages on site. Pro tip: book the sexy fish for dinner one night. I would not exchange money here. Rate is very low.

The property has direct beach access. Food was good but more Western breakfast meal opinions would be nice.

Door lock didn’t work well. No pool towels available. No wash cloths or hand towels in room but corrected. Staff helpful.

Yasid (hopefully I spelled his name correctly) at the front desk was exceptional. That is not taking away from the other staff but he was patient, understanding, and accommodating. There's not much to mention here. I had no complaints. The price was great for the amenities offered.
-
Location. Termite infestation, financial irregularities, discriminatory conduct and horrible staff led by a terrible fat General Manager.
-
The location is right on the beach and has a private access directly into the water. You can avoid the busy road and walk through the resort to other beach accesses. The pool is sparkling clean, the rooms arebig and if the city loses power, you don’t even know as the generator kicks on right away. Nothing

Very helpful staff, great location for cathcing the evening sunset dhow cruise. Excellent breakfast buffet with good coffee. No shortage of rooms. The hotel is very spread out and has dozens of guest buildings that look similar. By the time I had properly understood where everything is, I had taken many wrong turns and we were ready to check out

I love everything about amaaan

Location on the beach with nice view of the sunset VERY BAD ATTITUDE OF THE MANAGERS , very unfriendly and unpolite, made us feel unwelcome during our 12 days stay. I almost had a very serious accident when the glass in the shower broke, but they never apologized, never offered a refund or at least a meal or a glass of wine. On top of that they wanted to double charge us for the breakfast because I took some croissants for later (had to take a medicine). They also double charged us the city taxes and never gave even an answer about the refund we asked. We are a family of 5, having travelled all over the world and in this hotel we experienced the WORST ATTITUDE OF THE MANAGERS ever….

I loved the location. It’s right at Nungwi beach so you can access the ocean at any time and also book excursions easily..you will see the most beautiful sunsets as well..I also loved the fat fish restaurant on the grounds. They had good food this awesome band play one night and it was a beautiful experience. For the charge the room could have been a bit better and bigger with more modern facilities. My room was so far out with a view of the water tanks but oh well hakuna Matata! I still enjoyed my stay regardless
