Hotel Riu Palace Zanzibar - All Inclusive

Well, we were initially upgraded to a room with private pool, however it was necessary to check into a different room in the middle of the night due to cigarette odor could no longer be tolerated. But they did us a great experience as they put us in a villa.

Service was great. Thanks to friendly, smiling staff. I want to share my appreciation specifically reception Manager Khaldia to accommodate our late check out due to our late night flight. Beach is amazing. Food is great. I recommend to everyone. Thank you RUI Zanzibar. Lots of pushy sales people at the beach. Not hotel staff but other sales people wants to sell stuff.

We had a wonderful stay at the RIU resort. The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with great facilities, excellent food, and a relaxing atmosphere throughout our visit. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Glory at the Promenade Restaurant. She consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, always checking on us with a warm smile and ensuring everything was perfect. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests made us feel truly valued and welcomed. The outstanding service from Glory and the rest of the team helped make our vacation memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with excellent hospitality. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The resort exceeded expectations with its exceptional service, luxurious facilities, breathtaking surroundings, and outstanding cuisine. They need to invest more in the golf karts, a big resort cannot rely on 4 golf karts

The beach Horrible Management

Service was good. Food were not the best for me

Excellent staff, selection of food was in buffet restaurant was great. Beach was great Golf cart service was wonderful Outdated shower in the room Blue tiles in the pool need to be cleaned or replaced Speciality restaurants were okay. The presentation was great but the food quality was not there

Order and location Smell in the room and sellers at the beach

Nice staff, large territory, great choice of food and drinks, amazing beach, clean and friendly. Can’t book the restaurants to get the dinner , shut down of electricity which is not safe for the electronic devices.

Everything, the pool was huge, planty of different locations of sunbeds so you could choose different places every day - calm shade, pool area, beach area, the views were amazing, the food delicious, staff very attentive. We were also able to get an early check in and got a free room upgrade Its a shame its no longer adults only The wine included in the all inclusive could have been better, it was much nicer in the alacarte restaurants than in the main bar The use of wristtbands felt a bit dated, im not used to it anymore from other resorts, its uncomfortable to have to sleep with it

Over all great experiences

The location was amazing, the food was great and fresh, the staff was incredibly kind and respectful. The hotel has its own private beach, yet the people trying to sell you stuff on the beach (not affiliated witht the hotel) can still be annoying

Big resort, very clean and well maintained, located on the most beautiful beach of the island. It has many pools and day and night entertainment. Food was good compared with any other restaurants on the island, great variety for the buffet The options for alcoholic drinks were very limited and low quality and the waiting for the hotel car to take you places inside the resort was long (it’s a big resort and you need transportation to move around)

We had a wonderful stay at RIU Palace Zanzibar. The facilities were truly impressive and exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely fabulous – the resort is surrounded by a dreamy tropical garden, and both the beach and the ocean are simply fantastic. One of the things we appreciated most was that the tide wasn’t too extreme, so we could fully enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean at almost any time of day. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing experience. The only downside was that the room had a noticeable damp smell, which was a bit uncomfortable at times.

Staff The hotel advertises 5 restaurants, but when you arrive they tell you that you neeed to book the restaurants through their app. When you try to book it is all taken, end up eating at the "basic" restaurant that does not require a pre book and the food is very poor, not that promised quality.
