The staff were helpful and the daily programs were lovely and enjoyable. The water in the bathroom of the room was little bit salty.

Amazing location with good facilities and the best part was the staff and team who are so friendly and helpful and always smiling that made it so special. A special mention for Mr Geoffrey and Ms Warda who took great care of us and made our sons 13th birthday surprise celebration a memorable one.

We had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and spateous, the view was amazing, the food in the diner was extraordinary. Geoffrey was a great host, he and the staff were very kind and helpful. All of this made our time here very special.

We had a lovely stay in the spacious Ocean Rooms with fantastic beach and pool views. The hotel is located on the best beach in Zanzibar; an absolutely stunning spot with crystal-clear water and soft white sand, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.; GM Jean was great, the food was good. The Wi-Fi was unreliable and quite frustrating. Some insects occasionally got in due to the ground floor rooms not being fully sealed.

We were warmly welcomed by Geoffrey, who takes care of booking.com guests, and he made our whole stay very pleasant. We received a room upgrade, and we had a beautiful view from the top-floor room. The room was spacious enough, even though we had an extra bed for our child. The additional point I would like to highlight is the kitchen, all the food and drinks were super delicious and you could be very spoiled here. The beach place has been a top here. We will be very happy to come back.

A great place! We came here for the 2nd time, which was even better than the first... We got a big room, in the size of an apartment, watching the ocean. Abdul in the reception, Demist and Cresent in the pool and the beach bars were all so lovely, helpful and kind! Thank you for the best vacation!

After we booked, Geoffrey contacted us on behalf of the hotel to offer activities and a free room upgrade for our group. They also put extra beds in the rooms for us as we were travelling with friends and didn't want to share double beds. Throughout our stay all the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs.

It’s clean, the staff is extremely friendly. Convenience, you literally get pampered, you don’t carry luggage, anything you need happens at a snap of a finger Just the percentage they add when you pay with a card.

Very nice room and facilities, beautiful surroundings and helpful friendly staff. It was Valentine’s Day one day during our stay and the resort put on a very impressive dinner and show. So much food, deserts, red and white tablecloths with hearts on display everywhere, it was really nice and obviously a lot of effort was put into it. There was nothing I didn’t like.

Geoffrey, who assisted us during our stay, was exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. His hospitality truly made our stay even more special. The hotel itself is in a great location, with easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The staff were all welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Royal Hotel Zanzibar to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Zanzibar.

The pools and gardens of the hotel beautiful. All the staff super nice, especially our welcome assistant Geoffrey ,who was there to answer all our questions and fulfill our requests. We really felt we received royal treatment in every moment of our stay! I highly recommend this hotel as super relaxing and pleasant stay for both couples and families! Can not think of something I didn't like......

The facilities were excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The management was outstanding, always thinking along and ensuring everything went smoothly. Highly recommended! It would be great if there were a caddy service available inside the resort.

Beautiful beach front resort .The resort is luxurious and Happened to be birthday time and they did decorate the room for me which was very kind and also upgrade of the room . Staff were kind and very hospitable, extra regards to George for all the assistance and services . I totally recommend visiting the resort. N/A
