Beautiful hotel a few minutes walk to multiple beautiful beach options in Nungwi and Kendwa. The buffet breakfast was tasty as well as the cocktails and food served at the poolside bar and restaurant. Our room and furnished balcony were spacious, and the AC and hot shower worked well during our stay. The hotel's attentive staff, fitness facilities (gym, table tennis and massage services) and well kept garden made our stay also relaxing and worth what we paid for our stay. We were able to get sunbeds at the beachfront, through a partnership the hotel has with a nearby hotel. We would certainly visit again and for a longer stay!

We loved it here! The rooms were very comfortable and clean! The pool and sun-beds were very comfortable and plentiful! And the staff were beautifully kind and helpful. And the room has aircon and a fan! Would definitely recommend and come back if we travel to Zanzi again! The power did go out but we just went out for dinner at this time. The quilt was a small sheet and quite cold - needs to a bigger and warmer blanket.

Very nice pool area, great and friendly staff and good breakfast! I would definitely recommend this hotel! Only one thing was negative - no generator at the hotel. It is quite common in Zanzibar to have electricity issues, but all other hotels that we stayed in Zanzibar had generators to maintain water supply and basic electricity.

Great friendly staff. Cleanliness was top-notch. Lovely pool in the middle. Fantastic breakfast. The location is ok. A bit of a walk to resteraunts and the beach. The generator was not working when we were there, so it was a bit annoying.

Rooms were amazing ! Lots of glass for lighting and room for bags Everything was good Location was a little off the path but the evening walks were nice

Accomodation was excellent, beyond our expectations, very spacious, clean, bedroom really nice size, free water- it doesn't happen often in Zanzibar. Really nice breakfast, tasty fruits every morning, smoothies, omelettes, vegetables and many more. Distance to the beach

Facilities are passable however there were so many things that went wrong/disappointed us which I won’t detail here. Leaving this review as I strongly believe it should not have a 9/10 rating.

Very quite place. Far from city noises. Good food, nice staff. Rooms are comfortable. Ac working well. Very good restaurant, so you can spend the whole day without leaving. Beach is 10-15 min walk. Nothing

Beautiful villa and amazing staff, comfy rooms and a the owner is lovely too! A lovely oasis! Location is quite far from restaurants (15 mins along dirt track then a main road) and about an 8 min walk from the beach again down not great roads. But the villa and its beauty and peace do make up for it!

Very nice and clean, great swimming pool, rooms were tidied up each day. Quiet far to the beach. On the beach there are not public showers and toilets. No sunbeds and parasols available. Electricity falls down very often and as we were accomodated upstairs, you can not use even toilets or shower, no water for cleaning at all. Recommeded to buy backup source for electricity, as this was big disadvantage of our stay and compared to paid price it was quite expensive.

I stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful experience at this beautiful villa surrounded by nature. Among the many highlights, I would like to highly commend the swimming pool and the food. The pool is kept at a comfortable temperature, and the villa’s buildings provides shade, allowing me to swim under the sky without worrying about sunburn. I also appreciated that the pool stayed open late, making it possible to swim while stargazing. The restaurant being open all day was another great advantage. The breakfast was absolutely delightful, and I chose to have all my meals at this restaurant without feeling the need to dine out. The manager and staff were incredibly kind and responsible, working together with nice teamwork. When I needed a tour guide, the manager promptly arranged one, helping me fully enjoy my time exploring Zanzibar. The owner also checked in to ensure everything was doing well.

The place is very nice, clean and organized. The pool is amazing and the staff was always very helpful and nice. The rooms were stunning and the breakfast was huge and delicious. We really had an amazing experience! :) It is a little hard to get to Nungwi’s downtown if you don’t have a car, but it is great if you want a little peace (which is absolutely what we wanted)

Excellent choice!!! this place is a wonderful oasis... beautiful plants, clean pool, above all wonderful people!!! perfect location - a few minutes to Kendwa or Nungwi. I plan to visit Zanzibar and Mimi again next year !!! warm greetings to all!!

Staff is very friendly and forthcoming. There is always someone around. Food is available 10am-10pm all day. Options very tasty. Breakfast was good. Pool, room and the garden is very beautiful and you feel at home. very tasty drinks and juices. only instant coffee available.

The apartments are very large and spacious anuncomfortable Better sun protection by poolside. Umbrellas would be great. Property is very isolated, so plan to eat in the restaurant or taxi. Staff in the restaurant are very friendly and welcoming, n fact, all the staff were very welcoming. The food quality in the restaurant was fair at best. Avoid it. Breakfast has no yogurt. That's the first for me, and I travel the world one hundred and fifty days a year. The fact that it's owned by someone who's from a Switzerland shocks me even more. Yogurt is a staple in most people's lives in the morning. All in all, there needs to be a massive improvement in the restaurant food quality and offerings. So much potential in this property. It's just not being maximized and it would be so easy to improve.

The pool is amazing! The whole property is very clean. Beach is nearby but property is very quiet. The access road is as rough as other people said. Not so bad if you are wearing proper shoes.

Exceptional

This property was great overall. The rooms were comfortable, the pool was lovely and the gardens were beautiful. Everything was very well maintained. The only thing that was disappointing was the location. Whilst this is nobody's fault, Mimi na Wewe is situated in an area where a lot of development is happening, so the general area is a bit of a building site. The surrounding area was a little rough, the roads hard to navigate, and whilst we were happy to walk around and find our way, I think this may put some people off. The closest beach was about a 10 min walk, so that in itself was great.
