Ondo House

Breakfast was great, it's so close to the beach and the pool and lounge area are so relaxing. The host was really kind and the rooms were clean. The generator was active immediately power went off. The chef made really nice food I think they can improve the shower pressure. Otherwise everything was perfect

The staff was very nice, helpful and attentive. There was always someone around for help. The room was comfortable. There were some problems with electricity and equipment when we arrived but they were fixed in a timely manner. Bare pillows (under the covers) were old and stained. The cleaning lady would move and fold our clothes, including dirty clothes, which was confusing. We ordered dinner once, it was tasty but small amounts for the price.

Ondo House is ideally situated a 2 minute walk to the white sandy beach where there are numerous restaurants to try. Would definitely recommend ?? Minor issues with electricity, but that affects all businesses and can't be helped. There was a generator but it couldn't power everything.

I would like to highlight Mr Hassan as an amazing host, he made our vacation easygoing and smooth, everything we asked he accommodated very fast without any problems. Additionally to his actions there was young Mr Thomas who is also great and helpful in every way. Bravo for both guys and all recommendations for them. House itself is cute with beautiful garden and pool, so if you want to stay away from the crowd, you can enjoy your day by the pool with music and drinks.

Very nice and helpful staff. They arranged us excursions and transfers. The room was very clean and nice. Location close to the beach. The description of the amenities in the room was not quite right, eg. there was no safety box in the room.

The location is great for proximity to Nungwi beach, but for better value than the beachfront “resorts” in the same area. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating, they helped us with issues we had with taxi, helped arrange excursions and accommodated our room requests to ensure we were comfortable. The power was always going off, but I think that is just the case for the entire area. I think the property had a backup generator, because it never stayed off long. Not really in their control.

The staffs were so helpful. It’s a budget hotel but still with hot shower and air conditioning. Breakfast was good. The location is very good. There were sometimes power cuts. And the shower water pressure wasn’t stable.

We had a relaxing time at Ondo House! The pool was the perfect size and temperature. The location was perfect, walkable to the beach and restaurants. Hassan and his brothers made us feel welcome.The food was great and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Even though we had an early flight, Hassan made sure we had a breakfast to go. They helped us to deal with the tours, taxi drivers, which was very helpful. I found this hotel last minute and I dont regret. Location only 2 minutes walking from the beautiful beach, and a lot of restaurants.
