Always clean, good breakfast, staff very helpful, worth the money

We really much enjoyed our stay! The hotel was as described and we knew perfectly what to expect. The room had a good size for two people and we really. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. From the terrace you have a beautiful view to the ozean and the beach is only a short short walk away. Furthermore there are two tearraces on which breakfast will be served, so we even had options to choose from. Fresh fruits were provided for breakfast, cake, chapati and bread.

The staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is perfectly located, just a few steps from an incredible white sand beach. The rooms are well decorated, with everything you need. I will gladly come back!

We had a great stay at the Zanzicrown!!! Staff was always friendly and helpful, our room was clean, comfy bed, air-conditioning worked great, and breakfast every morning was excellent!

The breakfast was great(Flies were little bit annoying though). And the room itself was nicely decorated, so so clean, I have never seen any bugs(even mosquitoes!). The host and staffs are very kind and had hospitalites. Highly recommend this hotel and I'll stay at this hotel if I visit Zanzibar again. No shampoo or showergel so don't forget to bring the amenities(I brought them, so no problem at all). The water pressure of the shower was a little low, and the duration was about 10 to 15 minutes(I switched on the hot water and waited for 1 hour or something), which was a little short for Asian women who like to take long showers(but the other hotel that I stayed in Zanzibar was same, so it is general level in Zanzibar, I guess). I understand the area is safe to walk at night, but the area was kind of "quiet" local people's residencial area, I was little bit scary to walk at night. The kind staff helped me to call the Tuktuk to take me to the restaurant, so it was not a problem though.

Hotel is just 1 min. walk to the beach. Staff is very kind and friendly. Owner is charming Italian lady, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast consist of 5 various fruits, eggs, bread, coffee and tee, cake.

- The staff is incredibly nice - The room was neat, clean, had everything I needed including a mosquito net, small locker and airconditioning (make sure that the room you book says it has airconditioning if you want that) - The breakfast that is included is nice and quite a good portion unlike other places I’ve been - It’s a <2 minute walk from the beach - the bathroom looked nice and I had a relatively warm shower - Most restaurants are a little further away to the left along the beach if you want to walk, but for me that wasn’t a great issue

Exceptional

From the moment I arrived, I immediately felt like home. We enjoyed a really cute & cozy garden, breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality of the staff made me feel even more like I'm home. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. And the location is absolutely unbeatable! The beach is literally around the corner - okay, maybe 5 steps away hihi. If you’re looking for a place in Zanzibar that combines comfort, charm, perfect location, this is YOUR choice. We can’t wait to come back ❤️

everything was perfect, Elena the owner is wonderful, friendly. Zanzicrown was my home for a month. Very clean, daily cleaned rooms, great breakfast. Nasor was very nice and helpful. and a beautiful garden and a small pool where you can spend a pleasant time. I give 20 points out of 10?

Located very close to the beach, with extremely kind staff. The garden and pool area is quite nice, and the rooms as well. Breakfast wasn’t the most varied and didn’t have juice, and the rooms didn’t have shampoo or shower gel.

On top of a nice stay we could check out late free of charge as the room was not booked. So we could enjoy another morning at the beach.
