Siri Beach Lodge

From the moment I arrived, Siri Beach Lodge felt like home. Property manager Charlotte is friendly, genuinely helpful, full of local tips and was very hands-on in maintaining the property to a high standard. The entire team, from the security staff to the breakfast ladies were warm, authentic and attentive without being intrusive. My room was a great size with a lovely balcony view. It was exceptionally clean, minimalist design and had everything I needed. Small touches made a real difference: 24/7 access to drinking water from the kitchen, use of the fridge for personal items, and Charlotte personally recommending a trusted local tour guide who i used for two short excursions. The location is perfect. Nungwi beach is literally a 30-second walk away, and the property sits at a great access point for major tours, the village and several lovely nearby restaurants. I left genuinely impressed and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a well-run, welcoming boutique stay in Nungwi. I did not have to face any long power outages and it didn't affect my trip but the property does have a generator that runs at fixed timings. So just note there might be a short period where there is no electricity which is all over the island.

Cleanliness, location and staff Nothing

The room was clean and tidy. The manager and the whole staff were very helpful and friendly.

We wanted to borrow a bowl and were refused, which made us feel a little indifferent.

Everything is really good. Great staff and location literally 1 minute from the beach. Interior and smell inside the room is pleasant. My favorite thing is garden inside the hotel, amazing.

We had a late arrival and everything was smooth. The security, housekeeping and breakfast staff were all incredibly polite and always with a smile. The location is right next to the beach and the breakfast was always made in front of you, timely and delicious. A sincere 10/10 experience. Two cons I think of, but not directly connected to the property: First relates to Nungwi/ Zanzibar itself: due to the poverty and hustler mindset of some locals and Masai, you will get hounded to buy anything from souvenirs to illegal things (pls avoid this) outside of your accommodation and bars/restaurants. You won't believe it until you are there, every 5 meters someone will come up to you and offer a list of 10 things, every single time.. So something to prepare for mentally. We had always felt safe, it was just uncomfortable until you get used to it... And then it's slightly annoying but you have to respect their efforts and just remain kind, and buy only when you want/need something (and you will always get things cheaper inside the village Vs at the beach) Second relates to power outages, and Siri doesn't have a generator of their own. The outages didn't last long and it was just a slight nuisance to lose electricity and water pressure a couple of time while showering, and having to wait maybe 10-15min.

We enjoy is ed our stay at Siri Lodge so much! The lodge is very well maintained and beautifully decorated. It's very relaxing as a bonus! The rooms are spacious with a balcony, the beds and cushions were very very very comfortable, We had balconies in our rooms and it was enjoyable to sit there and relax. The manager, Charlotte, is such an amazing person who's always ready to help with recommendations, directions, information, everything! The location is amazing and in front of a new and beautiful beach club Bobo's. The breakfast was good: fresh fruits, fantastic fresh juice -tropical-, eggs, pancakes, etc. There's a kettle in the breakfast area that's available all day for guests who'd want to enjoy some coffee or tea. We liked everything.

It was too expensive for the hotel standing

Everything was perfect, very comfortable to stay for a long period. Spacious, clean room with a fresh look and almost everything needed. Fresh towels, bed linen, and good air conditioning. Picturesque inside territory with a relaxing atmosphere, with a comfortable place to have an exceptional breakfast with a cup of tea/coffee. Polite and very helpful staff responded and helped with any requests. Amazing view from the balcony of a room on the second floor. Cafes and the beach are just a one-minute walk. Nothing to mention.

The rooms were specious, the bed was very comfortable and the location is very close the beach (few steps). The style and furniture of the room, the garden and the breakfast.

Really nice place (adults only), super friendly staff, from the ladies that prepared on the spot delicious breakfast to the cleaning crew that were super attentive. 24/7 guard, super safe. And Charlotte helped us with tips and made our stay enjoyable with nice conversations. The room was also big, with A/C, the bed comfortable (harder mattress) and the terrace was a plus. The area around really has everything, from nice beaches (1 min away) to a lot of good restaurants and bars. Totally recommended ?

I love that the property is cozy and steps away from the beach. I had fun during my stay! The water could have been a little warmer for my shower but that is my preference and not a fault of the property.
