Amarterra Villas Resort Bali Nusa Dua, Autograph Collection

Outdoor showers, not one was indoor except for the bathtub. Long wait for check in, multiple times the villa door wouldn’t work and we’d have to wait 30 mins to get it fixed by staff

Everything about the property was good. The villas were quiet and cozy. The resort have a serene vibe, the sound of the waterfall around the whole place was really soothing. The food at the Maja restaurant were so good. Enjoyed them fully. Even they once dropped us to Bali Collection with resort car on an evening. Spa service was also good. Nothing to mention

The villa we had was exceptional with a large private pool, while the room was very comfortable with every amenity possible. The staff were genuinely friendly and assisted us with any queries we had and provided information on things to see and do. I could not fault them. The refrigerator was too small and the door did not close properly. For a 5-star hotel I would expect better. Other than that, no complaints. Also, this hotel is located in a very westernised, gated community full of high-end hotels. If you want to immerse yourself in Balinese culture or experience street food, you have to catch a cab outside of the enclave and travel times can be long.

It was spectacular! Having your own villa with pool was perfect. The restaurant was excellent and I can’t say enough about the outstanding service Nothing to mention. Everything was great

The place was so clean. Everyday you’d see that the facilities were kept tidy and clean. There’s a bit of mosquitoes but the staff always provide mosquito repellent if you need. We had a private pool to our villa and it was one of the best experiences of my life. It had a big bathtub that could fit a tall person like me and had two showers which were incredible. The food is fantastic and yummy. There were times when the waiters didn’t understand English so we had a problem during breakfast but that was the only problem.

The Hotel is really great, the welcome ceremony added a very special touch to the stay. The villa was superb, big room, quiet, and the staff were amazing, smiling, always a good word here and there to make sure the stay is perfect. The breakfast was very well serviced. The private beach easy to access, even by walk, with great drinks. The spa was so relaxing. Special thanks to Alvin with the luggages and transportation arrangement to the beach, the mall, and the airport. All was great, nothing to say.

Beautiful pool villa, good location, very helpful staff. Not enough beds at private beach, food was average, sometimes hot, sometimes not.

The villa was beautiful and perfect for our family of three (with two year old child). We spent many hours swimming in our pool and enjoying sitting outside in the cabana. The staff were incredibly attentive and very friendly and made the stay extra special for us. The location was good although we had a scooter so were able to get around pretty easily. The pool was under construction for the week we stayed, which was a real shame as it killed the vibe of the hotel and meant everyone pretty much stayed in their villas. It meant the spa was out of action and yoga was done in a separate villa (not by the pool). It was also hard with our son as we were hoping he could have a communal place to swim and play with the other kids. We were able to go to the Ritz Carlton and use their facilities which was beautiful, but not very convenient. I think the property should have let us know before arriving that the pool was out of order and possibly offered a discount. I’m sure when the pool is all finished it will be fantastic however it is the reason I haven’t given the stay 10 stars.

They have a funny credit card policy for reservation and payments which I believe serves a purpose, but escapes me.

Floating breakfast in the pool was good. The Bali collection area is within walking distance from the resort. There is a shuttle service to the beach, and the hotel also has a bar counter for guests at the beach.

-general vibe of the hotel - quiet, luxurious, well-maintained -nice and helpful stuff -amazing yoga -good food -delicious and refreshing welcome drink -the common parts of the hotel are simply beautiful -it’s not typical resort like a lot of them in the neighbourhood is more quiet, more boutique I really regret that we didn’t have time to use the spa -no main swimming pool + beach is a bit far away -no shower outside in the pool area at the villa -it’s good that they provide free bicycle but they should be better maintained

Amazing staff who gave meat check out Thought it had frontline beach access which it didn’t so that was misleading in the photos. The resort was also undergoing renovation which hadn’t been communicated by booking.com

Everyone was so accommodating and careful, we were spoiled for our anniversary stay. Booked a massage package in their SPA and it was the most amazing massage ever. ☺️ Thank you guys and gals

Amarterra Villas was the best way to finish our holidays in Bali. Location is fantastic and walking distance to Bali collection where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The villas are just beautiful, we stayed in the 2 bedroom villas and it was amazing. The outside open area is great, the swimming pool is fantastic. We had a free bottle of rose with some nibbles on arrival, and the mini bar comes with free re-fill! Staff is great and welcoming. Even the General Manager Lami stopped at breakfast to say hi and introduce herself. There are also free bicycles for use. The Nusa Dua public beach is accessible from the back doors, but we also have access to the private beach Amarterra by the Bay with free pick up and drop off at any time. Everything was great, except for mosquitoes - lots of them... but also we should have stayed longer... :-)
