Motel 6 Oak Creek, WI

The worst hotel! We couldn’t check in because no one was there to check in with. We called the customer service and they wanted to send us somewhere else farther away! I contacted Expedia and they said it was nonrefundable but we couldn’t check in!! We were forced to book another hotel. Still fighting to get a refund with Expedia! Besides that, the location is horrible and shady! I would NEVER book a at this hotel again. And Expedia hasn’t come through. Very disappointed

Hallways and rooms really dirty, dust and debris also the rooms smells terrible, I don’t understand how the are operating any control about cleaning rooms and hallways.

When leaving, I also saw broken glass in the parking lot (arrived very late so I had not noticed the night before).

Nice experience with a great location. Tv didn’t work properly for some reason. Hotel staff immediately addressed it and all was saved.

Bathroom door has to be replaced because it was broken but it was an okay place to stay

This had to be the most run down hotel I've stayed at. I do travel for work and there are times when you take what is available so I've stayed at some dated locations but this hotel was not only run down to the point of needing to be condemed but it was also dirty and seemed that there were full time residence living their who were obviously down on their luck. Not the safest.

Air conditioning was very noisy and did not cool the room

Fantastic people at this motel. Front desk clerk was absolutely amazing. The room was super clean and loved the location. Highly recommend this place.

The room I booked had shown a jacuzzi in the room accordingto the room pictures, but there was not one. That was the only reason I had chosen Motel 6. Also, not much for sound restrictions when in room. Could hear people walking through hallway and room above on 2nd floor and rooms on either side.

Passable

There was not a luggage rack to open the suitcase on. There was not a closet to hang clothes in. There were no hooks in the entire room, not in the bathroom not on the wall nothing dying in a robe on or a wet towel. No hangers no closet. There were no plugs for a cell phone near the bed or on any wall. We had to use the bathroom plug to charge our cell phones. The only good thing was the air-conditioning was super cold. The floor was extremely dirty. I don’t think they’ve ever washed it in like a year. Our feet were completely black just walking in there. I had to wash the bottoms of my feet before I put them into my shoes the following day. And it was making the sheets sturdy. They did not change any sheets during our six nights stay. They did not come in to clean during the six night stay. When we need towels we had to go to the front desk or toilet paper. There was a mold all over the bathroom, where the two fiberglass pieces Meet you could see it by sitting on the toilet. In the entire room it’s not like mold. We had to check out early because we didn’t wanna get sick from the strong mold smell. The beds were like sleeping on a jail floor hard as a rock. Never felt to bed that hard in my entire life. The blanket was so thin that an additional sheet would’ve been thicker than the blanket. No extra pillows no extra blankets no closet.

It was decent for prices and area, Also room was a nice size. The traffic the was outside I guess but I felt okay.

Pros: clean (except for the floors), plenty of parking, close to restaurants and shopping with easy highway access, pretty quiet (other than the planes of course), big bath tubs with good water pressure (but no plug), and nice staff. Huge shout out to Sam at the front desk, who saved the day for us! Cons: more run down than I usually see at Motel 6. The toilet seemed to be leaking slightly and didn't flush well, the paint was peeling off the ceiling, the room floor was a cross between sticky and slimy, the hall carpet was filthy, and the mattress was very very thin. Once we figured out the the seemingly broken AC unit was hotwired to a switch it worked well. Probably would not stay here again, or recommend it, but I've seen much worse. If cheap is your only qualification, then this will work.

The tv did not work the WiFi did not work the room floor was extremely greasy and slippery smelled like fried chicken as soon as you walk into the room

Nothing Outside the motel was creepy; didn’t look very safe.

Air conditioning unit blew cold air directly over bed. Tried without AC, but room was too warm. Could not get comfortable. Room phone rang twice during the night awaking us, too! We did not sleep well. Fridge, but no microwave. No hairdryer. TV remote did not have batteries. On the upside: Bed and bathroom were clean and desk attendant was welcoming.
