After the second night, of 4, we contacted the front desk. They were able to replace the air-conditioning unit while we were away in the day and after that the room temperature was comfortable and stayed where it should. There were numerous dings and marks in the walls, and some of the trim was coming away from the wall. The breakfast situation was very limited. On Saturday morning there was no caffeinated coffee when I was leaving for the day at 8:00am. I also checked in with well behaved show dogs, which I FULLY disclosed to the front desk at arrival. What was especially disappointing was being charged an unexpected $300 pet fee at checkout. I was expecting a $100 pet fee, so the $300 charge was quite a surprise. I feel that any additional or higher-than-expected pet fees should be clearly communicated at check-in. Overall, the staff was friendly and responsive when we brought the temperature issue to their attention, and I appreciated that they resolved it. However, the condition of the room and especially the unexpected $300 pet fee definitely left a negative impression on what could have been a much better experience.

Hotel is dated but reasonably priced, had to make sure we pulled the door closed, found it ajar after cleaning staff left could use some maintenance, but located convenient to our needs

The first issue was that the bed was too hard & the pillows were too soft. And the second issue is a little more personal, the problem was that the Toilet Paper was too hard, it felt like we were using Sandpaper when we cleaned ourselves. Other than that, the hotel was the nicest & cleanest we have stayed at in over 5 years.

Stayed there for one night and everything was nice and clean

Our room smelled heavily of marijuana when we checked in. The staff was obviously aware as the window in our room was open presumably to air it out (wasn’t working) and they should have not sold this room and called it a non-smoking room. We left the window open and turned on the air while we were away at an evening event. Didn’t help much. I ended up needing to use my rescue inhaler. I mentioned it to the desk, he said he would talk to the manager about a partial refund and so far have not heard an update. The hotel itself is a bit rundown, breakfast was mediocre, and overall I will not stay there again.

This hotel is one of our favorites and we have been to many. You get more than your money’s worth. The place is clean and well kept. The room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast was perfect for us.

Needs a lot of updating. I know the new owners just purchased it but lots of work needs to be done.

We stayed at a different hotel first but we found roaches In the hotel and came to this hotel right away. Amazing staff, very clean rooms. Great breakfast, very quiet and clean, will be back to stay again.

There was never someone at the help desk, always had to call the hotel for someone to come up front. The room we stayed at was nice and clean but the door was hard to open. Breakfast was not the best very few options.

This hotel has been closed for a couple years. I had reservations back then and had gotten a cancellation as they were going to be 'under construction' for the time frame I had booked. It doesn't look like anything was done and it had an odor when walked in and my room was stinky. I went to open the window and half the screen was cut out. I will continue to stay at the hotel next door.
