Lovely staff and beautiful design throughout Busy streets but not a dealbreaker

Beautiful courtyard and terrace. Room was comfortable but the lighting was intense and cold. Great location and the staff was exceptional. I wish they would leave at least two coffee pods per person in the room.

Property was OK. Concierge staff was pleasant but inadequate. Screwed up our reservations on 3 different occasions. Worse, the manager questioned our honesty- had to check with the venue. Maddening and insulting. Long taxi rides and either the venue was closed or we were turned away. No compensation.

Hotel sin nombre was truly exceptional. The hotel is gorgeous, the room is very well designed, and the restaurant food and drinks were amazing. 10/10. The room is on the first floor and it can be a little loud. We had a car alarm go off outside in the morning which was annoyint, but ultimately not a huge deal.

The large erotic photos of women in lobby and rooms. I am not a prude and usually think nude photos and paintings are art. But consider these highly sexist. If you want to promote eroticism then put up similar photos of men too and let customers know this is what you’re about. Would have preferred beautiful Mexican art in our room.

The location was excellent. The rooftop restaurant was pretty (breakfast could have been improved) Very comfortable bed. Nice sized room The bathroom was too small with a very awkward shower. The lighting was inadequate for reading. We had a front facing room which was a bit noisy at night

Sound insulation wasn’t great. Probably due to the age of the building, gaps in the wooden doors, etc. And because our room was next to a bar and restaurant. Staff were nice when we were there but they were complete absent by phone and emails. Not a response.

Good location. Minimalist. Linen was If good ugali tu and fresh. Room was Not very Clean. A lttle musty. Room was very uncomfortable . You had to Go over a wooden platform tk get to the other side of the Bed into the bathroom. Not well maintained . Floor Lamp switch had no end pull. Room door was hard to manage and made of steel sheet. Handles could be of better quality. Stairs to the upper deck too steel and dark. A little pretentious.

The hours of the pool were strange to us and one of our breakfast plates were burnt.

Beautifully decorated. The hotel always smelled amazing between the incense and fresh pine leaves hanging as Christmas decorations. The roof deck and Cantanita next door were great to relax at. Amazing walkable location in the heart of Oaxaca.

Tiny shower. Needs paint. No space to put anything. No iron to iron clothes for going out. No end tables. If you touch stairway wall hands are black. Junior suite tiny.

I don't like the hotel, the food was bad, the room haven't windows, it's dark.

Unfortunately , the breakfast was not very good. Kitchen needs improvement ! Fruits were good and fresh, egg and cheese options were not great, dry and un tasteful. The bar upstairs was empty all the time , it could have been made it a bit more festive there. Alos, food options were not great given the the city is amazing for food!!!!!

We loved the: 1) location of the hotel - could not ask for a better location, 2) cleanliness of the rooms and how large our family suite was, 3) vibes of the hotel Overpriced. It's absolutely insane paying what I pay for a Four Seasons and not having the same level of service or amenities. We stayed during Dia de Muertos weekend and paid around $750/night. There's no way this hotel is worth such a high price. Service is far from it. If I had paid $150/night then it would be the best stay overall.

Common areas were clean and well decorated. Staff super helpful, but the rooms didn’t live up to the same standards. The AC in my room didn’t work and the bath towels were thin and small.

Great design. Very friendly staff. Close to Zocolo and 2 blocks from markets. Very busy area. Not that it's bad in itself but having been in Oaxaca before we enjoyed the area around the Templo Santa Domingo as it was quieter and more relaxed

I felt the hotel was overpriced for the location. But it was a very unique boutique hotel. And very private once you were on property.
