The junior suite was very spacious, very clean, modern with plenty of outlets, lighting and storage. Excellent bed. Smart TV for Netflix and other platforms. Good AC, good wifi. Their other rooms are all in their main building, but this junior suite is actually off of the parking garage and appears to have been added very recently. It seemed odd at first, the location off the garage and directly on the street at ground level. But they must have soundproofed it very well because the street noise didn't bother us. The hotel is small and has no other amenities, but was very well located for walking all over. It's about 5 minutes to the Zocalo, 10 to El Llano park, and less than 20 to the neighborhoods of Jalatlaco and Xochimilco which are lovely. OXXO around the corner for buying water. The front desk is staffed 24/7 with nice people. We only saw the reception office, we didn't see the area where the other rooms are, so this review is just for the junior suite. They used the shower design that has a partial glass wall but no door. Those always allow water to splash out onto the bathroom floor. It wasn't a big problem, but would have preferred a normal shower stall with a door or curtain. The small windows at the door entry to the room had no coverings yet, so they just had paper taped over them. There was a gap, so we had to put one of our bags in front for privacy.

The ceiling in the bathroom looked like it had black mold smudged around. I arrived late in the evening at 11pm, to see if they had a room. I was told that there are no rooms available. I booked it instead on booking.com while I was in the reception, and they agreed to give me a room. In the morning the check out was at 11am, I checked out at 10:30 in the morning. Then got a message from the hotel at 11:15, asking me to please check out. I don't know if it was all just confusion from their side, which of course can happen, but it didn't make me feel that welcomed.

The location is prime, you will easily walk and get to all the main destinations in the city center. It was clean. Very basic hotel, plain and no decorations at all in the rooms. Given that this hotel is in the historic center of Oaxaca you would expect more decor and liveliness in the rooms. The windows did not have screens and mosquitos did invade one of the nights. Seems like the owner wants to spend as little as possible in the overall aesthetics and amenities. We requested to borrow a clothing iron and there was only one available for the entire hotel and someone else was using it. The shower doors have a huge gap a the bottom and the entire bathroom floor got wet the when took a shower.
-
No way to get coffee inside the facility anywhere however there's a coffee shop within a one minute walk, real basic room maybe a little pricey
-
Shampoo, body wash and conditioner system was horrible.
-
Bathroom was kind of smelly

The location 1 little bar of soap for 3 adults, 2 very small bottles of water to be shared amongst 3 adults, we were asked to pay for another if we wanted it, no hand towels, water leaked out of shower every time some one took a shower, had to wait 3 hours to get an iron, loud hammering noise that started at 1:30 a.m. and staff said they couldn’t do anything about it, so we checked out at 5a.m.
