Si pretty and well located, good price during day of the dead too! Maybe the bathroom is a bit small but was okay really

The location was fine and the staff very friendly and helpful. \\however - we were bitten by bed bugs - both myself and my husband. When I raised this with the hotel they said it couldn't be the bed. We stayed at the beginning of our 10 day vacation and I had to find a way to wash out the clothes I had warn to ensure no bed bugs came away with us. This was a bad start. The bed bugs. And what also bothered us was that they did not accept this- even though I showed them the bites. My husband also was bitten. The bathroom was very small, and the shower difficult to use, taking a long time to provide warm water for a shower.

Staff were lovely. Rooftop access was a bonus. Very clean. Very noisy street outside so we asked to be accommodated away from the street, however room was very small for two people. Staff did their best.

Central, clean, good price. Very Loud noises from hotel’s pumping equipment at all hours near our room that would wake us up several times every night.

Central location. It was impossible to sleep after 6am because of traffic noise from the street. This may have been less with a room at the back of the building.

Staff was great, but didn’t speak a word of English I told them I would be checking out a day early 4 days in advance. Booking.com said to contact hotel but the hotel charged my credit card $200 and booking.com never helped. So, no refund!!!! I will never book with booking.com again.

Low key, comfortable, near center without being right in it. Very good restaurants close by, walkable. Nice terrace. The charge for coffee and the awkward preparation by front desk staff the only downside. Otherwise, very pleasant.

They stole my money. When I checked out I left my wallet at the hotel. I went back for my wallet and they told me they hadn't found anything. When I found out that it was there, I asked to speak to the service people and they weren't available. I asked to speak to the manager and he wasn't there. They told me to come back the next day. I went back and they told me the same thing. That the manager isn't there and neither is the housekeeping person. They wouldn't give me a phone number to speak directly to the manager. I'm not going back to that hotel. They are not honest people. Before we left, we had already given them a tip.

Staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The tour options. I assume they’re given as a third party feature in the hotel. Hotel staff was accommodating and apologetic when the third party tour came an hour late. I had to cancel.

We were very disappointed in this hotel and definitely not worth the cost! The room was extremely small, felt like we were in a tiny box and claustrophobic. No windows in the bedroom (the window in the bathroom did allow air from a “shaft”.) The hotel is located on a very busy street, especially for catching the bus so it was very noisy. They often kept the front door locked (from the people waiting to catch the bus?) At 6:30 am there were loud noises from some sort of electric grinder (blender? Coffee grinder?). The positive were the sweet young women who were the receptionists and the cleaning staff. They were kind and the hotel was very clean. The “lobby areas” were pretty so it was “shocking” that the room was such a disappointment! With so many other choices in beautiful Oaxaca City, especially for the price, I would not recommend this hotel. We were grateful it was only a one night stay of our three week vacation.

We were on the ground floor, and it could be a bit noisy with people coming in late at night. Also, although the bed was clean, and they didn't skimp on pillows, it wasn't the most comfortable mattress. That said, for the price (and considering the location), this was the perfect choice for us.
