We loved the comfort and the staff. This beautiful property is in a prime location in the heart of Oaxaca. Construction going on in the property but it didn’t affect our stay

Great location, blocks from everything in town. Luxurious experience, with a historic and beautiful property. Room isn't too large, and natural light isn't optimal. They are also renovating right now, and the stairs are a bit of a challenge.

Friendly staff Small and not too light rooms. Old showers and furniture

Amazing historic property. It exudes a sense of peace and we absolutely loved the relaxing pool and servers Carlos and Joel. Security guard Aristeo? was kind and friendly. Location can’t be beat. Beware of bait and switch on the room. We were told that there are many Gran Clase rooms and you don’t get the sq ft you paid for. We stayed 17 days and talked to others who came and went from the rooms we requested and paid for. Shame because the front desk staff who checked us in left a bad impression for an otherwise lovely stay.

The property is gorgeous. Gorgeous little gardens & plants everywhere. Beautiful building with history. Restaurant is very nice. The location is spot on, close to everything! Staff are very helpful but the best compliment go to the staff who cleaned our room. Very attentive & so very sweet! The furniture in the room is dated & the bathrooms are old, a slight makeover is needed. The tiles are old & dirty, that dirt is just not coming off no matter how much you scrub it! For the size of the hotel they don’t enough lounge chairs by the pool. We stayed 6 nights and we never were able to get one.

Location was very central. Gorgeous grounds and historical buildings. Charming and picturesque. Excellent service and food. Extremely clean. The shower is a little old but very clean and pretty ceramic tile. Amazing water pressure.

Food was excellent. Service was top-notch. Shower is older, but has amazing water pressure. Very quaint and lots of character. Wonderful!

A beautifully restored historic building, with a lovely pool and spaces to relax. A bit too “big hotel” vibe.

The hotel grounds are very lovely and luxurious. I’m very happy with our decision to stay at this property.

The bathroom is dated.

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful, atmospheric, serene. Concierge Carlos Gonzalez was exceptionally helpful when my husband lost his keys, repeatedly phoning potential leads at the Mexico City airport. I wish the cost was lower so I could afford to stay longer or return more often

The staff was terrific, the customer service, the breakfast offerings, the grounds of the property were beautiful and well preserved, the refreshing mecalina tamarindo cocktails at the bar, and the seamless check-in and check-out process. I have raved about the hotel since my return to LA, and I plan to stay at this hotel for future stays. The room was near the street, so it was a little noisy in the morning, but not horrible. Guest of the hotel tend to linger and congregate outside your door and talk even though it's not in front of their room. Maybe a gentle policy to greet guests upon arrival so they don't disturb guests who may be sleeping.
